In the end, the child looses his mother but happily talking to his father, even joking about their future...
C'mon, the director needs to reconsider the ending...

Beautiful script, great actors. However, there are cuts in the story setup, the context is not fully settled and you have a hard time living the story. The second movie should come urgently and this beautiful love story should be sweetened and painted with miracles. WE NEEEEEED IT AND GIVE US HOPEEEEEE

In Good Hands, a tear jerker movie about a single mom who's dying and she does not know who's going to take care of her son who is just a kid after she is gone. But this isn't just a movie which will make you cry - it's also a kid comedy and a romantic movie also as heroine of this movie meets a man who may take care of her son. Director tried to put so many emotions in this movie. In case you are fan of Soap Operas than watch it otherwise skip this movie.

The main character was not fake at all, she played very well. The other characters could have been fine as well. The shooting of the movie provided a very good experience. But there were many gaps in the plot, which made me confused a lot.

The director should have watched the 2020 film Nowhere Special to see how a film of this nature should have been made.

The ending is crystal clear .. an overdose of drama, but the acting was wonderful, especially the main actress, Asli Enver, who is creative in embodying pain and sadness, as well as the choice of the child is beautiful.

I think the whole movie was based on one really bland twist and there is nothing more. Rich man poor girl story but come on it is so unrealistic plot that it is hard to follow though. I gave three stars because I was able to finish it but unless you have absolutely no alternative stay away and spare your two hours. Just staring to a blank wall is more productive.

Normally I'd rate this movie 4 stars over 10 but I'll leave it at 5 simply for the sake of Asli Enver and Kaan Urgancioglu because they both have had really good projects lately -but not this one, unfortunately. I'd expected a dramatic story, maybe a tear-jerker even, and I wouldn't mind a few clichés here and there but I found a poorly edited film with such a slow flow that's almost boring and fails to deliver the story. Both leading characters were "in good hands" indeed, the acting performance was good -as expected. However, that's all.
A tragic but wonderfully romantic story that has great and comedic male bonding moments.

This was a beautiful but sad film and I highly recommend it. I have come to expect tragic love stories from Turkish film and novels, so I wasn't surprised when I had to break out the tissues before the end. There is some beautiful art, some sweet comedy with a little boy, and a great twist that I wasn't expecting...and really made me love the film more.
The general plot is a single mom has been given a terminal diagnosis in which she has five months to live. She used to be an art student and now works as a waitress in a cafe, but other than one friend, who seems to need a mother herself, she has no support and thus no one to take care of her son when she dies. After meeting this arrogant bachelor at a coffee shop with her son, she seemingly sets out to seduce him into falling in love with both of them...without telling him she is dying. I can't tell you any more without revealing the twist, but suffice it to say that things aren't as sinister as they seem. There is a missing piece of the puzzle.
There are some wonderful scenes between the five year old son and the potential suitor for his mom, especially when he comes up with some tests of his worthiness. I love the scene in the car where there is mimicking with sun glasses. Asli Enver (of Istanbullu Gelin fame-which she is also fabulous in) is marvelous as our single mother Melissa, she is natural, beautiful and talent as she even gets to use her singing voice to charm her prey. Kaan Urgancioglu (of Ask 101 fame) is not to be outdone and is excellent as the handsome bachelor CEO.
This is a wonderful heartbreaking love story that is tragic but worth watching. I recommend this film to all you romantics out there...and it might even be a good film to watch for Father's Day (especially with its ending along with the film About Time).

Great script. The story at first does not seem to make complete sense, yet as the story progresses the writer/characters connect all the pieces for us beautifully. All is explained. Live the journey.

Beautiful Asli Enver (Melisa) delivers subtly powerful, graceful acting. Kaan Urcangioliu (Ferit) shines in this role. Both actors are seductive, with endearing smiles when they need them to lighten reality. They pull you in, leaving you wanting more. A twist - A story of first love. It shows the acceptance, strength, and joy of raising a child as a single mother - no victim theme. The chemistry between the actors - gorgeous. The scenes with Ferit and Can, the boy, make you laugh and cry.
Many unique scenes and details in the story make this one-of-a kind movie. A must-watch for those who like romantic dramas with a touch of comedy. The drama was kept honest, we were even spared from some of it.

Melisa ( Asli Enver) suprises me with her decision to hook Ferit (Kaan Urcangioliu) at first.. but at the end I got the very piece of the puzzle to see the whole picture of Melisa's story in its fullest...
Great performance.. interesting plot.. dramatic story..
Must watch it once again.

For a movie that was dubbed in English the overall story was great. The acting was a bit different to watch because the cultural differences were a bit different. Overall worth the watch, but watch with subtitles so you don't miss the words.

Great story, great actors. Heartwarming movie.
A lot of funny moments, and a lot of sad, oh so sad moments.
And all that in one nice and good, very good movie.
Well, that is expected from actors like these, the both of them are so great I adore Asli Enver (Melisa), since Istanbul Bride. She is a really great actress And Kaan (Ferit) too, he is one of the greatest turkish actors.
Great job, I did enjoy ever moment of the story.

The title is translated as You Look Alive but the local title is 'in god hands' that is used internationally
I m quite thrilled with this movie as ny wife who after watching it at first seen it at last 3 more times in less than 3 months in Netflix . I m not sure if this movie copies from Holywood but the story is not only nice but emotion thriller.
Story In short a young woman agyer having one night stand with a man got pregnant and rised her you son by herself . 8 years later ad after herd that in a due time of 5 months (???) she will pass away found him again in the city and tried to reestablish relationship with him. Her problems are two : will she get this relationship and if yes how easy is for her son to accept this relationship?
The movie though slow paced seems to be very realistic with nice photoshoot , good acting from all actors but seems a bit indie movie and with some deeps meanings.
Verdict 8 /10 beautiful story.
