- There is one brief shot of a woman's breasts, though they are obscured by blood and grime.
- This is the tamest of the series in terms of sexuality
Violence & Gore

- Strong and gory violence in every segment in this film. By far the goriest "V/H/S" film.
- 'Storm Drain' gets extremely gory and violent at the end, though its build up is gore-free.
- 'The Empty Wake' features a zombified man missing a large part of his head. His body begins falling apart. Very graphic
- 'The Subject' is by far the most violent segment, as to be expected by director Timo Tjahjanto. It features scenes of dismemberment, operations, and many gory gun and explosive deaths. Extremely graphic watch.
- 'Terror' also features strong gun violence, with closeup shots of people being killed with pistols and shotguns. The segment also features gory dismemberments and the death of a rabbit.
- A character is impaled through the back by a large blade. They are then lifted into the air and thrown into the ground, with the fall completely cutting them in half. Very gory.
- A large blade is pressed against a character's neck before a second blade is driven through their throat.
- A soldier is shot point-blank numerous times in the throat and face until his head is completely blown off. Shown from the shooter's POV so it's very bloody.
- A large dull metal pipe gets stabbed into a character's cheek and exits out the other one. The character begins to convulse before their head is smashed and the pipe is torn out, ripping the mouth in half.
- A man is shot twice in the back of the head, with blood splatter exiting his forehead.

Violence & Gore
- At the end of 'Storm Drain', a woman spits acid at a reporter's face. His face then falls off, and he dies. Very graphic.
- An immortal humanoid creature is shot through the face with a shotgun in order for its blood to be collected. As the creature is immortal, it gets shot in the head multiple times throughout the segment that it's in.
- A man is impaled in his face. The pipe is visible in his mouth. He is then slammed into a wall leading to the pole breaking his jaw.
