Great imagery, iffy emphasis

I loved seeing the juxtaposition of old and new Honolulu, and of course, the images of Pearl Harbor after the attack are powerful.

However, the narration and commentary strays into modern takes on nationalism, morality, and racism. With seemingly little to no comprehension of the times and situation.

One correction. There absolutely WAS spying by Japanese nationals blending in with the local population. So much so, that the fleet was updated as to the lack of aircraft carriers in port just before the raid. This is well documented and shown in Japanese movies covering the event, but this "documentary" would lead you to believe otherwise for reasons unknown.

In short, this would've been a much better show if they'd just stuck to the facts rather than politicize the commentary. Regardless, the images are stunning when you mentally link them to the magnitude of the event.
