During Sunday evening’s WWE Night Of Champions event, a promo aired hyping up Brock Lesnar’s “Go To Hell Tour.” This is the slogan WWE is using for a big-time schedule for October that the company has planned on the WWE Network. Lesnar, who has largely been absent from television since his loss to Undertaker at August’s SummerSlam, will be pivotal figure for the company over the next month.
The promotional video started out by hyping up the previously announced October 3 house show that takes place at Madison Square Garden. That event, which will air live on the WWE Network, will feature Brock Lesnar taking on The Big Show.
Next, it was announced that Lesnar will be the special guest on the Stone Cold Podcast on October 19. This will prove to be one of the longest sit-down interviews that Lesnar has ever taken place in during his career,...

The 9th WWE Night Of Champions supercard is now in the history books. Going into the show, the main talking point was that Seth Rollins would defend both the WWE World Heavyweight and United States Titles on the same event. During the pre-ppv ‘Kickoff’ show, it was revealed that those bouts would take place back-to-back, with the Us Title match against John Cena coming first.
A lot of time was allotted to Seth’s double duty, and rightfully so. All in all, Rollins wrestled for around 35 minutes across both matches. The main event was gifted to Sting’s crack at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, even though there had been rumours before the show that Rollins vs. Cena would get the nod to go on last.

WWE’s Night Of Champions 2015 looks to be one of the more intriguing editions of the Pay-Per-View series in recent memory. Last year, John Cena faced Brock Lesnar in a colossal main event. Aside from that, there really wasn’t all that much else to get excited about on the card. Thankfully, the creative team have written a far more well-rounded mix of stories for 2015.
As things stand, there are 8 matches announced for Night Of Champions. Out of those, 7 are on the main Pay-Per-View portion of the show, with the other existing as a ‘Kickoff’ exclusive to warm up the crowd. It seems unlikely at this point that WWE will add in any other matches, but the real intrigue lies with what has already been confirmed. Given the mix of bout, it seems a dead cert that there will be some shocking moments on the show.

With WWE Night Of Champions on the horizon this Sunday, the final edition of WWE Raw prior to the PPV aired on Monday night. Coming out of the show, we now know the final card for Sunday’s big event.
While a good majority of the card was already known prior to Monday’s go-home show, a couple of new matches were added to the lineup to round out the card.
Following a disqualification finish in the Nikki Bella vs. Charlotte Divas Championship match during Raw, it was announced that the two would have a rematch at Night Of Champions. This time, if Nikki is disqualified, the title will indeed change hands.
Ryback went out to the ring for a promo during Raw and was interrupted by Kevin Owens. After the two went back and forth in the ring on their microphones, Ryback announced he asked The Authority...

There is a rumour that Seth Rollins versus John Cena will be booked as the show closing main event at WWE Night Of Champions.
That would mean Rollins’ WWE Title match against Sting is the show opener.
The placement of Cena in the last match berth would hardly be surprising, but it will raise some eyebrows if the WWE Title and Sting are relegated to a curtain jerker capacity. Plus, surely WWE wouldn’t change the WWE Title in an opening match of a special.
Right now, nothing is a lock. Either match could be the main event, and the rumours going around are probably stemming from the internal booking conversations in WWE. They’re still making their mind up.

Worried WWE fans have expressed concern at Brock Lesnar’s physical appearance during WWE Night Of Champions. The current WWE Champion started his match against John Cena with a completely normal look. However, after just a couple of minutes, Lesnar was already sweating profusely and had turned both red and purple in his face. This is normal for someone undergoing intense physical exertion, but Lesnar was barely doing anything of note. A rehearsed wrestling match shouldn’t be turning a man purple.
Indeed, Brock previously used far more athleticism in the Ufc a few years ago. On those genuine sporting occasions, Brock never turned this strange colour. Yet in a predetermined wrestling match, Lesnar looked like he’d just done an hour on a gym treadmill at full speed. Fans have noted that in addition to turning red and intensely sweating, Brock also appeared to be struggling for breath.

With the Night of Champions 2014 pay-per-view (are we still calling them “pay-per-views”?) quickly approaching, rumors are swirling about what WWE’s plans are moving into the autumn. With Daniel Bryan on the shelf indefinitely, it seems as though Brock Lesnar will revive the champion model of the 1980s. This means you’ll never see him wrestle on free television and his appearances will be few and far between. John Cena’s redemption story may be center stage but would WWE really switch the title this quickly?
With Summerslam looking like a relatively weak card heading into the event, WWE surprisingly put on a very good show with solid matches from top to bottom. Can Night of the Champions also deliver a surprise? With WWE seemingly on cruise control for the remainder of the calendar year, it’s extremely possible that this event could be a colossal waste of time.

This Tuesday on WWE Main Event, two more matches were made official for WWE’s Night of Champions PPV on September 21 in Nashville. The two matches will see Randy Orton take on Chris Jericho and Roman Reigns will match up with Seth Rollins in a battle of former Shield members.
The Orton/Jericho rivalry is something that goes back many years, most notably when Jericho came back to WWE towards the end of 2007 with Orton in position as the top heel in the company. They’ve had several matches over the years. Most likely the reason they’re doing the feud is to give Orton a win over a big name after he lost to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. It was set up this week on Raw when Orton attacked Jericho in the trainer’s room. Jericho’s expected to be out of WWE after Night of Champions...

This week on Smackdown, Rusev agreed to Mark Henry’s challenge for a match at WWE Night of Champions on September 21. While Rusev was in the ring with Lana doing one of their promos where they were criticizing the United States, Henry walked onto the stage and wondered if they would accept his challenge.
After they said yes, Henry spoke with confidence in front of the appreciative American crowd when he said: “At Night of Champions, I’m going to give you a good old fashioned, red, white and blue ass whooping. You understand me?” Sometimes crowd reactions on Smackdown are obviously fake, which we have been able to tell for 15 years, but when Henry spoke to Rusev in that manner you could tell the crowd reaction was very real.

It was announced on Tuesday during Main Event that Dolph Ziggler will defend the WWE Intercontinental Title against The Miz at WWE Night of Champions on September 21. The two men from Ohio will meet in a rematch from SummerSlam when Ziggler beat Miz clean to win the gold.
This past week on Raw, Ziggler was in a tag match with Sheamus against Cesaro and The Miz. At ringside, Miz brought out his “stunt double” Damien Sandow (aka Damien Mizdow) and a makeup lady. They were there to protect Miz from any attacks on his “Moneymaker” face. They did a unique finish for the match with Miz telling Sandow to take his place. It wasn’t allowed, so Ziggler dropped Sandow with the Zig Zag. While that was going on, Miz snuck up from behind Ziggler and hit the Skull Crushing Finale to win the match. Having Miz pin...

A three-hour Raw seemed much better than an average Night of Champions pay-per-view.
Welcome to the official review of WWE’s Night of Champions, which took place on Sunday, a pay-per-view where all the championships had to be on the line. Did WWE do justice to the event, or was it a lackluster cry for help? Find out as you read on.
The two main matches of the evening were Cm Punk taking on Curtis Axel and Paul Heyman, and also Daniel Bryan taking on Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. The Corporation angle has become a main storyline aspect, and it is amazing to see the reactions the fans give to Triple H and Daniel Bryan.
The card is stacked, and so is the arena! Let’s see how this goes, and follow me on Twitter @NextBigThingSiD for views and opinions on the WWE. My predictions for the event...

WWE's annual "Night of Champions" show has arrived, and there is one person noticeably missing from the card. After losing the WWE Championship at "SummerSlam" in August, John Cena is on the shelf, recovering from injury. That's why Triple H, acting as the new evil corporate honcho, has christened Randy Orton as WWE Champion and the new face of the company.
The show is headlined by Daniel Bryan getting his WWE Title rematch against Orton, after weeks of insults and attacks by the extended McMahon family. Now's the time for the company to show they actually have faith in Bryan being the top guy for a while. It only seems fair as he's one of the most talented wrestlers on the planet and arguably the most popular one at the moment.
The scheduled card for the show is below:Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE ChampionshipCM Punk vs.

Night of Champions is the one night a year where all the WWE belts are up for grabs or, in this year’s case, every title holder is on the card. Yes, what should happen on every pay-per-view is now marketed as a special night. Outside of the Intercontinental belt, all the titles are on the line tonight and, statistically speaking, there should be a high count of title changes. This will also be the first John Cena-less pay-per-view since Armageddon 2007. Will new stars rise to the occasion to fill that giant void Cena’s injury has created? One could only hope. Here are our predictions for WWE Night of Champions.
United States Champion Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler
It’s such a shame that the once red-hot Dolph Ziggler is now back in the mid-title picture. But aside from that, Ambrose and Ziggler in the ring together in...

This years SummerSlam looks to be an incredibly hard act to follow. We saw two match of the year candidates in Cena/Bryan and Punk/Lesnar and we also saw perhaps the most memorable ending to a pay per view in some considerable time.
Night of Champions is always an exciting concept, a night where every title will be on the line, and most importantly it will be on the main card (well, we hope so.) New face of the WWE Randy Orton will have to defend his WWE title, whilst The Shield will all be performing on the card. With John Cena injured for a considerable while it’s time for the other superstars to prove their worth, especially in the main event scene.
Here’s my look at the potential matches I think will go down at Night of Champions 2013…
