Cody receives a call from Professor Oak letting him know that a new Pokédex upgrade is now available. With 100 new species of Pokémon to discover in a whole new region, the Professor tasks Cody with going out to Johto to help an old friend of his... Professor Elm. Cody reluctantly agrees and takes a look at his new Pokédex before setting out on his journey.

It's a whole new world we live in. Pokémon fans rejoice, the JOHTO crew is back with a very special 2022 performance of the hit theme song for the Johto Journeys arc, Pokémon Johto. After his hat is stolen by a Pidgey, Cody decides it's time to acquire a new outfit before setting off on his Johto journey. He falls into song and gets pumped up to start his next adventure and to catch 'em all once again. Features notable Pokémon singers PJ Lequerica, Élan Luz Rivera, Jamily Gray, Shauna McCoy and Shareef McQueen.

The Johto journey has begun. Cody arrives in New Bark Town and is tasked by Professor Elm (Paul Liberti) to travel to Cherrygrove City to acquire a rare item from Mr. Pokémon. Along the way, he discovers a handy glitch that allows him to clone any Pokémon he wants. What could possibly go wrong? He is now able to obtain all of the Johto starter Pokémon, but... Trouble is also on the horizon as Professor Elm reports that one of the Pokémon from the lab has been stolen. The thief in question is a familiar face from Cody's past.

While the concept of time has riddled lives since the dawn of existence, Cody uses an easy algorithm that allows you to obtain a time travel password, allowing him to easily step between any time of day and catch more Pokémon quickly. He continues his quest towards Violet City while catching everything in his path, including a pesky Dunsparce with an amazingly low appearance rate. Amidst making "friends" and exchanging phone numbers, Cody also begins to question his C Watch after it discusses de-evolution via a thunder stone.

The Johto journey continues. Cody earns his first gym badge in the Johto league challenge while slowly adding to his Pokédex. He is also given the mysterious egg, which eventually hatches into the much anticipated Togepi. Cody then visits the Ruins of Alph, home to rune puzzles and 26 different variety of Unown, a strange floating space letter Pokémon. Upon arrival in Azalea Town, it is discovered that... TEAM ROCKET has returned.

Upon arriving at a Pokémon Daycare, Cody enters the egg-citing world of Pokémon babymaking, also known as Pokémon Breeding. While securing a Ditto to keep hostage as a top rated studmuffin, we also explore new mechanics like evolving by becoming friendly and whacking our heads against trees to find hidden Pokémon. It is also time to face one of the most notorious gym leaders ever and her rolling milk cow.

Pressing on to Ecruteak City, Cody discovers the fabulous Pokémon Bug Catching Contest along the way and decides to try for first place. While catching as many Pokémon as possible to fill in his Pokedex, he also stumbles upon a Miltank field and gives his hand at milking one for some Moo Moo Milk. Cody then finds a world-renowned Pokémon YouTuber, Bird Keeper Toby, and has some things to say to him after their battle is over. We all know who's the very best... Right?

While trying to complete the Johto gym challenge, Olivine's leader refuses to budge from atop her lighthouse perch until we go all the way across the sea to attain a special medicine for a sick Pokémon. Along the way we finally catch all of the Unown, unleash the full potential of our Game Boy Printer, and have our first encounter with a "shiny" Pokémon. We also find out... that Team Rocket is back? Don't miss this jam-packed episode of Every Pokémon Ever.

The exciting conclusion of Cody's Johto journey has finally arrived. After traversing the rest of the region and gaining his last gym badges, our hero sets off to battle the Elite Four and reclaim his title of Pokémon league champion... However, it won't be easy. While unexpectedly meeting up with old friends and foes, it's a wild ride to the very end and the journey doesn't stop here.

Professor Elm sends Cody back home to the Kanto region to continue his quest for Professor Oak... to catch every Pokémon and complete his pokedex. Johto legends come alive as he traverses the region for the first time in three years, including the discovery of two magical feathers that call ancient creatures Lugia and Ho-oh to arrive before him. After learning how to hunt Legendary Beasts, re-earning his Kanto badges against buffed out gym leaders and putting Brandon in his place for good, all feels like it's coming to an end when Cody faces off against his most powerful foe yet... himself. Prepare for a jam-packed episode you don't wanna miss.

Just when he thought he couldn't find any more lore to the Johto region, Cody comes across a mystical Pokeball called the GS Ball and vies to uncover its many secrets. By taking it deep within the Ilex Forest, a Pokémon called Celebi arrives through space and time to confront him for his time traveling shenanigans. Cody just uses a master ball instead and also meets up with an old friend... himself. By teaming up, the two generations of Cody try to complete the Gen 2 living dex once and for all but learns some unsettling news.

Cody finds a method to retrieve the final 5 Pokémon he needs to complete his Gen 2 living dex. By using the coin case and a specific collection of items, he can break his game completely to get any Pokémon he wants, make any Pokémon shiny, and access secret menus and lost minigames. Receiving praise from both Professor Oak and his future self, Cody's Johto journey finally comes to a close... for now.

It's time to talk about every single event Pokémon distribution for Gen 2. The early 2000's brought forth its own fun and exciting events, mostly revolving around the mythical Pokémon Celebi. The mystery of the Mew Machine continues... We also unearth the mountain of Poké-mania and merch surrounding the fabled Pokémon Center New York, and interview notable Pokémon historian Grace (MewisMe700) about her efforts to keep the memory of PCNY alive. The one and only U.S. Pokémon Center also hosted a wondrous machine, the Gotta Catch 'em All Station, that pushed event distribution to the next level.
