Exciting series

The intrigue in this series is second to none. Brilliant!

I really love this series. Hope it continues on this trend. There is a lot of suspense, yet the bad guys don't always win...which usually makes me quit watching. Ebru Sahin is brilliant in this role...love her strong character yet she stays feminine. Very good actors and the directing is very good as well.

Episode 23: The longer this series continues the more violent and gore it becomes. Less story and more witchcraft and rituals, therefore my rating dropped from 10 to 8. Same mistake all Turkish series makes...to stay popular, they become too much, try too hard and lose the soul of a story and lose popularity. There is just too much intrigue and violence. It's getting to a point where I will stop watching like so many other series.

Like other series, it started out brilliant and is slowly losing it's character. I sincerely wish the writers can bring it back to a more normal level so viewers can enjoy it again and not have a constant blood taste in their mouth.

Great until the end

Great story until the very last episode. If you skip the very last episode it's a good story. But the end was awful and made no sense. The acting was good and I enjoyed the storyline but the writers ruined the story at the end. It made no sense at all how they ended it. And for how smart the king was, he sure was fooled by the most obvious person that was behind everything. Another thing is how the second to last episode everyone is happily married and pregnant but it seems they all got that way magically. No one even kisses. They just hold hands, which is ok but not very realistic. Also, most of the time everyone wears the same exact outfits for every episode.

6 episides realeased and it's getting better and better every episide . Akkiz is a big revolution for female characters so powerful girl really waiting for her plan . The whole actors are perfect the story is really like Legend.

Music, plot, narrative, ideas, values, action, actors... everything is well done.

Little budget, great results.

A good alternative for US bad drama, full of vulgarity and lies.

I love Destan so much. Very happy that I discovered this dizi. Edip Tepeli is such a great actor. Ebru is also amazing. I love series where females are at the forefront. This is a very woman empowering dizi. Highly recommended. The beautiful Turkish version of Game of Thrones.

The series is addictive from the first minutes. Every episode you sit and you can't just sit back. The plot is interesting to the point of insanity. I advise...

Entertaining with a very stupid ending

Taking into consideration that this show is mere fiction and based on the wild and biased imagination of the Turkish unprofessional writers who seem to write for kids who believe anything without thinking or relating what they see on tv to reality, this show was in a way entertaining. However, the producers, the writers and the directors need to learn how to respect the audiences and how not to insult our intelligence even when they present fictions. I was entertained until the last episode which made me regret watching the series; it was in every aspect totally ridiculous and beyond stupid. ( 40 Turkish female peasants trained in a couple of days defeated the Chinese army and freed the Turkish land! Hahahaha... and then to make it even worst, the main characters are all killed in a stupidly funny way!! My God, this episode should should result in forbidding those writers and producers from ever writing or producing.. I feel sorry for the actors who agreed to such script.

Edip Tepeli is an amazing and unique actor. He has the ability to have a large range of emotion. He uses his eyes, body and voice to convey emotion. I enjoy watching him and Ebru a lot.

I enjoy watching Destan a lot.

worst series

I don't understand why they gave the main role to this woman who doesn't know how to act. Her expressions are so forced and she doesn't do anything else in the series except scream or fake cry. I'm sure that if there was a female protagonist, the series would have been more successful. So it was a first for a historical series to end after only 20 or so episodes, given that the turks adore this kind of series. They should have changed its name because it was just a mediocre series, not epic with main couple who had 0 chemistry.don't waste your time watching something like this for nothing. You have nothing interesting in Destan.

It's unlike other Turkish series. Good fresh idea.

The number of details in the story shows that the writers have worked on the idea for a long time.

The story line, acting, cast is perfection. A story about love lost between 2 tribes which will be united by a prince who shares both blood with his aides and companions.

Idea is good. How they handle the story is just bad. Too many very simple coincidences. The story is stuck in a small fake palace. Only the clothes and actors are good. They don't know write and shoot. I'd recommend to hire at least korean writers. Compared to dong yi this is amateurish.

Epic Series

The Turkish Game of Thrones. This series is so powerful. Ebru!!!! What a solid performance, didn't expect anything less she brings so much to her Character. May it be this EPIC throughout the series! Love love love this show!

I started this show thinking that I was going to see a quality series, as historical ones usually do, but I didn't like this one at all. The first episode, which was supposed to be a surprising one to make people watch it, seemed predictable to me. The main couple has no chemistry, they look more like brothers than lovers. If the story had focused on other characters, I would have liked it more, instead, all you can see is how the "warrior" screams and cries in every episode. I do not recommend this series,you are wasting your time in vain thinking that you will watch something never seen before.

It's a great series, good storyline. It's different to what we normally watch. It has great action. It has strong female characters. The lead female actress sure does know how to defend herself. The male lead is disable but very intelligent. Amazing production.

Well done turkey 🇹🇷 For those who are in love with turkish TV, this is the series of the origins of turk people, Gok empire, the year 645.

Women power, Akkiz (ebru shahin) the main role in this great series is brilliant, the best bow woman and fighter in the kingdom.

Full of drama, action romance and all around, you gonna love ❤ it at first site.

10/10.

Legend DESTAN...

It tells Turkish history in such a beautiful and realistic way, I can say it is perfect in one word.

First of all, the actors don't act, they live the role officially, they reflect it so well that you really feel that spirit.

I highly recommend watching this serial...

Amazing portrayal. Interesting storyline. Cast is awesome too. Their acting is phenominal especially Salim bektiyar, Ebru sahim.

It gives an interesting insight on how the world functioned at that time in Central asia.

Something happened in the third episode

First two episodes are well done. They don't have the budget of marco polo tv show but well done.

Third episode was just bad. I don't know if something happened to the director but third episode looked not precessional in every way.

The idea has a great potential but instead of getting better it getting worse.

This was one of the easiest shows I've rated.

Costume: 10 Set design: 10 Acting:10 Cinematography: 10 Story: 10 Much applause to the actors, especially the leads, for the intense physical challenges they mastered....horseback riding, sword fighting, archery, etc. Amazing!

I became a big fan of Ebru Sahin and all the others, and continued my adoration of Burak Tozkoparan.

I found myself calling for AKIZZZZZ periodically throughout the day when I need a hand!

Great job on behalf of all the supporting actors too. Wow!

My only disappointment was regarding the ending. I was devastated that there will be no season 2...There REALLY NEEDS to be more!!!!!!

There is a girl that is part of it but I wonder how it goes and people been talking about it constantly no reason ever since 2021 but 2022 they've been talking about it cuz they heard of it on Netflix and I wish it would be on Netflix where we can see it and we want to do a movie of it in our high school in a play about it. If you're wondering why I want to watch this it's because I really like it and I wonder what it is and what's it about and how it comes to play cuz we want to make a play out of it but a nicer one and a better one for the little kids and high school people but I don't know how to do that and I want to watch it and see how it is.

Great quality. Amazing performances by Ebru Sahin, Edip Tepeli, Selim Bayraktar etc. A very well written story with full of surprises. Events that evolve fast and can let you breathless. It is all in one. I love it very much!
