Violence & Gore

Severe

Lots of descriptions and imagery of violence from 9/11. One of the worst moments being when a person who fell from the tower hits a light pole and splatters into a cloud of red mist (easy to miss as the camera does not focus on it and the makers might not have even realized this was in the shot, but it is there in the background). All the other violence is much less "intimate" and mostly just discussed rather than shown.

Profanity

Moderate
9 of 21 found this moderate
One person says "holy s*it" as a plane hits the first tower.
Many strong profanities from witnesses in footage and interviews.
In episode 1, there are 10 uses of fuck, 2 uses of shit and damn, and 1 use each of hell and bastard.
In episode 2, there are 4 uses of fuck and 2 uses of shit.
In episode 3, there 11 uses of fuck, 4 uses of shit, and 2 uses of crap and goddamn.
In episode 4 there are 4 uses of fuck.
In episode 5 there are 2 uses of shit and one use of son of a bitch.

This series depicts the real events of 9/11 we see bodies falling from the buildings and hear thuds as they land and see injured victims lying on the ground as well as footage of the planes hitting the buildings. This series can be very triggering to survivors.
