Amidst the drama of Peacock’s reimagining of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, there’s one thing everyone can agree on: The fashion is on point. In fact, when TV Insider asked the Bel-Air cast to name the best-dressed character on the show, while one name did keep coming up, more than one person acknowledged it was a tough question. “Queensylvia [Akuchie] is the most amazing costume designer,” Cassandra Freeman (who plays Vivian Banks) raved. “I think some of my costumes are incredible, but then I watch the show … it’s a tie for me.” Adrian Holmes (who plays Philip Banks) echoed her praise for their designer. “Everybody’s really fitted, especially this season. We’ve elevated the wardrobe,” he said. Jimmy Akingbola had no issues answering the question, naming his own character, Geoffrey. “Honestly, I’m in tears of joy every time I walk into the costume room,” he shared.

San Francisco, April 4 (Ians) Apple is reportedly laying off a small percentage of people from one of its corporate teams amid the deepening global meltdown.
According to a report in Insider, Apple has told some corporate retail employees to reapply for their jobs or they will be laid off.
The reports said that Apple is slashing jobs in the division that “handles building and upkeep for its retail stores”.
Affected employees have reportedly been told that they have until the end of the week to apply for other positions at the company.
“Apple is offering up to four months of severance pay for those that aren’t able to stay,” the reports mentioned.
Internally, the iPhone maker is “pitching it as a way to improve its operations rather than as a cost-cutting measure”.
Apple is the only Big Tech company which has not done any massive layoffs so far amid the global economic downturn.

Melanie Lynskey is everywhere right now, and we are loving it. Now, the Yellowjackets star (who also showed up in The Last of Us Season 1) is guest starring on the Fox animated comedy HouseBroken, and TV Insider has an exclusive sneak peek at her in the April 2 episode. Lynskey voices Pinky, a ferret who was put on steroids to look like a poodle and lives in the basement with a group of other discarded pets who are out to terrorize the upstairs animals on National Pet Adoption Day. And, as you can see in the clip, that means tying them up in the basement. “We’ve been listening to your group through that vent for months, and we’ve heard Honey talk about loving yourself and being worthy of happiness. Well, we deserve a good life, too, the kind of life you upstairs animals have, so we’re going to take your lives,...

What exactly is going on between Owen (Rob Lowe) and the new woman in his life on 9-1-1: Lone Star? That’s the question everyone — including Owen! — has in TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek of the March 28 episode. “Who doesn’t like being compared to Richard Gere?” Mateo (Julian Works) wonders. “I don’t,” Owen says, “particularly when it comes to exchanging cash for romantic favors.” When the others ask what’s going on, the captain tries to insist, “A gentleman never discloses.” But Paul (Brian Michael Smith) saw him cozying up to the bartender. T.K. (Ronen Rubinstein) defends his dad, that he would never have to pay. Then Nancy (Brianna Baker) reveals, “That bartender has more money than God apparently,” and Mateo clarifies, “I wasn’t saying Pretty Woman Richard Gere, I was saying American Gigolo Richard Gere.” So who is this woman? Kendra Harrington,...

As Oliver Stark told us, Buck is going to have a bit of a recovery ahead of him before he returns to the 118 after getting struck by lightning. We see some of that in TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek of the March 20 episode of 9-1-1. “Did I pass the Dr. Wilson follow-up exam, or do you need to check my pulse while you’re here?” He asks Hen (Aisha Hinds). She says she should, then taps the side of his head for his “ungratefulness,” she explains. So what did his cardiologist say that explains why he’s so cranky? “Nothing, no, she just keeps on ordering tests and doing scans,” he says. “I just keep waiting for her to tell me I’m Ok or that I’m not Ok, just something. Instead, it’s just more tests.” Is he thinking he’s in for bad news? Watch the clip above for more,...

Amazon’s new miniseries Daisy Jones & the Six clearly draws from the turbulent excellence that defined the peak years of Fleetwood Mac. But the adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s 2019 novel also uses the careers of other important artists of the era for inspiration. The character of Simone Jackson (Nabiyah Be) was based on the stardom of three timeless singers from the 1970s. Her plotline takes the same shape in the TV version as it does in the book. But the screen highlights certain details to heighten the emotional stakes of Simone’s story.
In ‘Daisy Jones & the Six,’ Nabiyah Be’s Simone Jackson helps Daisy get to the stage Nabiyah Be as Simone Jackson in ‘Daisy Jones & the Six’ | Lacey Terrell/Prime Video
Simone is one of the few people with a pure relationship with Daisy (Riley Keough) from the beginning of Daisy Jones & the Six.

The Blacklist hits a milestone that few shows get the chance to — its 200th episode — on March 19. And it celebrates by bringing the laughs, as you can see in TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek. Right in the middle of the drama, Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq) returns to Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) in the van with their food. “I’m starving, what took so long?” Ressler complains. Dembe blames it on the long lines and unpacks the bag. But “these are French fries, I ordered onion rings,” Ressler reminds him. “I told them onion rings, they must have made a mistake on the order,” Dembe insists… as he eats an onion ring himself. When Ressler calls him out on it, the other man just says, “They got my order right.” Then it’s back to what’s important. Watch the clip above to see what makes Ressler want to move right away...

Exclusive: Riverside Entertainment is expanding into scripted content with the coming-of-age LGBTQ+ drama Remy & Arletta, written by and starring Micaela Wittman (Clairevoyant), and the nihilistic thriller Manodrome, starring Academy Award nominee Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network) and Academy Award winner Adrien Brody (The Pianist).
The Los Angeles and Nashville-based production company, known for its unscripted success with the SXSW music doc Bluebird and the Magnolia Network series Making Modern with Brooke and Brice, came aboard both projects after production wrapped to assist with finishing funds and creative in post, also signing Wittman and her fellow multi-hyphenate Arthur De Larroche (Clairevoyant) to a first-look deal. Brian Loschiavo, Jeff Molyneaux and Pastor Alvarado will exec produce both Remy & Arletta and Manodrome on behalf of Riverside, which they lead as partners.
Adapted from Wittman’s bestselling novel of the same name, Remy & Arletta is based on a true story about two teens struggling to define their co-dependent relationship.
