The computer on the desk is an original Apple Macintosh Color Classic from 1993. It was the childhood computer of Chris Brueggeman that still functioned perfectly and had stories written by Brueggeman as a child. The computer was plugged in and turned on during shooting.
The wind, along with cold temperatures, proved a tough challenge for the cast and crew. Ultimately, the wind added a nice surreal effect to the final film.
