The Saints really beat themselves in this one, unable to kick the simplest of goals, King in particular woeful. He should be playing up field more like a Nick Riewoldt, as he marks so well, has the agility and competes well when the ball hits the ground. They flogged Geelong by all rights early and the forwards marking well, but they would also frequently mess up entering the 50 unopposed. The umpires helped in not paying holding the ball decisions all night, with the Saints pressure high and +25 in the tackle count.
