It's incredible that everyone can slip right into these characters again so flawlessly. It's like they were never away. Though the mystery aspect might be mediocre and they aren't solving a crime, this show and the movies rely mostly on the character interactions and that's absolutely top notch once again!

This movie is wonderful. It reminds me of all the great moments the show had. This is not about crime as much as about fun, ridiculousness, characters and love, you guys! And watching this movie I almost cried at moments because I just miss all those things Psych has always brought to me. Laughed even more but still I felt this sadness when it ended because there might not be more Psychs coming ever again. And that is just wrong. I don't care if it is USA who welcomes these characters as they claim or this Peacock thing that no one heard about but I want it back damn it! Bring Shawn Spenstar and Gus TT Showbiz back for new seasons... Now!
As good as ever from the best cast on TV!

This film is brilliant. I so wish the show was still running as it never lost its touch, still as funny as always. This film is my favourite of the 3 & the heart & humour is all so perfect. Making sure we got to see all the favs, even if it was a short time like Woody & Buzz was great. The story for this one is super enjoyable & easy to get into. My favourite part of this might just be all the references dropped along the way, specially the one about USA network. A super fun film for all fans of the show. Can't wait for #4!

I had gotten a little tired of the series at the end, but I found myself loving this movie and enjoying these characters so much.
It is clever and really, really funny. It is also sweet and kind and comforting.
Maybe just what we need in these crazy times.
It's a Psych movie so it's not brilliant art. It's Psych.
Just on the basis of cultural references it's a joy.
Bonus points that all the actors are back and that Curt Smith has a big and funny part.
And the theme song! Who can watch this and not walk away singing it.
I rated it 9 but it could have been a 10. I have nothing negative. It's Psych! It made me smile, and laugh. And cry a little.

Gus is getting married and Shawn is determined to do a background check on his bride Selene. On the other hand, Juliet is determined to be the godmother to the couple's unborn baby. Lassiter is his own chief but he needs the boys to solve his cases.
The gang is back. The boys are still the boys. This is basically two episodes of the TV show. Fans will like this. Newcomers will figure this out rather quickly. These are easy irreverent characters. They still have their chemistry. The main cast is back and the show squeezes everybody back in whether they fit or not. The funniest section may be the Wham video. This is also setting up for more movies.

Touched all the right bases . Will make you want more if you are a fan . Would have liked to have seen more from the old gang but with limited time it was nice seeing them anyway. The chemistry on screen is still there. I really wish they could do the same thing for Chuck .

The writing was better than past movies. More snappy lines, more humor, it's the subject that was poor. The story just wasn't very good. Good to see Timothy O. In this, but sad also. At least his speech is good. It is better that the 1st 2 movies. It's worth a watch.

I have been a fan of the show since its debut. Color me a little nostalgic if you must, but I so thoroughly enjoyed this! Seeing Timothy Omundson sit in the driver seat of the dual-berry brought a tear to my eye. The dude still steals scenes! James and Dulé have the same manic energy they did in the pilot. This was such an enjoyable watch.
Feels Like Just a Longer Episode of the Show

The inherent problem with any movie from a T. V. Series is that it inevitably ends up feeling like just another T. V. episode. Not saying that's a bad thing, I happen to be a huge fan of Psych, or "Psycho" as we call ourselves. But even as a psycho I would say that this is just another episode, and to be honest not even one of their best episodes.
The movie has moments that take our two main characters a few too many steps past over the top. The opening scene with Lassie and a scene where the two argue about a purse in the bathroom are prime examples. The movie also has a lot of loose ends that they never tie up. It feels like 4 different characters have story arcs that don't get any satisfactory pay off. This may be fine if it were a T. V. series and those plot points would be resolved in later episodes. But as a movie, it just seems like they are sequel baiting.
All that being said, this movie was very funny. It had double digit number of times that a joke would make me laugh embarrassingly loud. For every joke that I think went on too long, there were about 2 more jokes that hit their mark just right.

Psych is a dumb series, and proud of it, and for the most part that's good for me. But sometimes it pushes the stupid a little too far, or just feels like it's gone to the well waaaayyyy too many times, and for much of this movie I felt it was doing that. It was funny, generally, but also pretty inane even by the series standards - at times annoyingly so.
But then, in the last 20 minutes, it became utterly amazing offering a steady building of insanity that is probably as good as anything in the series.
So even though I was somewhat disappointed by a lot of it, I've still got to recommend it for that.

I'm a huge Psych fan (it's in my top 3 favorite tv shows). I've enjoyed the other 2 movies, but this one, while there were funny/nostalgic moments, left me wanting more. The guys still act like little boys, but they're clearly getting older. Sometimes they talked too fast or quiet for me to understand and I missed the punch line. There were also moments that dragged on and I felt myself wanting them to end. Shawn hardly used his "physic abilities" at all and there was very little mystery. If you're a fan of the show like me, you won't miss much by not watching this movie.

Awesome movie . Its great to see the cast and writers be able to come back and do these movies . This movie feels even more like the series. Unlike the last 2 movies this movie doesn't deal with a case . Shawn and Gus find out Selene had been hiding things about her past and that she didn't sent her estranged husband divorce papers yet . So Shawn and Gus go looking for him. This overall was a solid movie. It had some funny references and few callbacks to the series . I hope they do more movies .They should bring back more fan favorite characters from the series for future movies . I would love to see them bring back Pierre Despereaux for a heist movie .

We watched this on Christmas as a family. I laughed so hard so many times. This movie was made for the fans because there are gags like the dummy that make no sense to outsiders that we found hysterical. There are only 3 shows that makes me laugh every episode: The Office, Seinfeld, and Psych. But of all of them I laugh the most with Psych. I just love everything about this show. Roday and Dule' are the best duo of all time.

A fun movie from start to finish that manages to include pretty much everyone we expect to see at one point or another. The jokes land, with some genuinely hilarious moments (Rob Zombie outfit), and all the in-references that "Psych-o's" expect are present in a good way. My only complaint is the ending, and how it fails to expand on Shawn and Juliet deciding not to have children, and whether or not that changed after Shawn helped deliver Gus Jr. The stand alone films just keep getting better, and I'm really hoping we get at least two more films with a final ending shot of Shawn and Gus with two homes and a connecting pool!

Finally the Psych movie that fans have been waiting for! Funny & witty right from the get go and a hilarious ending as well. There are many touching moments as well. Fans of Woody may feel robbed as his part in this film is short but it doesn't disappoint. Quintessential Psych!

This was pretty awful and extremely silly, even for Psych. Ironically an 11 year old girl tells her father he has tickets to a Ted Nugent concert, and Nugent is spoken of in respectful terms, despite the fact that he has a song about raping a 13 year old girl! I found it a great metaphor for how awful this movie was.

I have just got through watching this movie and I thought it was absolutely brilliant..... brilliant Psych.... the chemistry was there between all the cast.... but especially between Shawn & Guster.....! Great Banter and laugh out loud moments throughout..... Great to see Timothy Omudson/Lassiter doing so well...! For me this movie was everything I loved about Psych on TV..... and for me the best of the 'movie' versions, so far....! Even if You haven't watched Psych before, You can still enjoy this movie in isolation...... Fantastic to know that there will be another movie version coming out..... that's assuming that You watch the movie until the very end of the credits rolling to find out.....! 😁

Started off just a bit slow, but it got increasingly funnier, and the end? OMG nearly peed myself. Totally digging the beards guys! It was great to see Lassie again, and his daughter rocked it! Can't wait for numero quatro, and hopefully centers around some fried cheeses. Perhaps 2 cheeses...?

I love the original show and I loved the first movie and the second one was fine. This one was different than the other two. It did not focus as much on the mystery as it did on the relationships between the characters. It had a good story but it was kind of all over the place. But, this movie was still really good and really funny and a great addition to the series. It may have been cheesy at times but I still enjoyed watching it and would recommend it to anyone psych fan out there. Now go and watch this movie.
