The principle footage of the film was shot over two days on a green screen sound stage.
Post production lasted close to three and a half years.
When the director got to post production he found that most of the principle footage was unusable because of problems with the F900. This resulted in re-shoots 8 months after Hector Corp. had originally been filmed due to scheduling and money issues.
