Why do AOT fanboys have to overrated every single episode? There's only a handful of episodes I think could be 10s, but this one's no where near that level. This episode was so slowly paced, last 2 eps have barely adapted a chapter each. We're at the end of the show, yet it's clear they're dragging this out just to get a movie. We literally got 3 minutes of repeated scenes from last episode, flashbacks, exposition dumps. This is a life or death situation and there's no urgency, the characters are just talking to each other casually. Falco of course conveniently is the only one who spots Gabi so they can be together again. Gabi's realization was solid. The animation has definitely improved and the action is good, but no where near the best in the series. Loved Helena's moment. Beast Titan coming back was cool, but why didn't he jump down to Eren? Wouldn't that be faster? I also don't like how much they've overused this OST, it was always awesome to hear when it came on but now it feels overused and has lost its effect. The beast Titan gets shot in the neck and boom, that's basically it. I thought all of this would've happened last episode already. I hate how they're dragging this out, and it isn't even that great to be spamming 10s like always. If the haters weren't spamming 1s then this would've already been another one of the highest rated episodes. Seriously? A lot of people are complaining about the 1s, but at least it balances out from the fanboys who only spam 10s. As someone who knows where this is going, and hates the ending, I just want to enjoy the last parts of the story I believe to be good in animation, but the execution of this has been underwhelming. Still a pretty good/decent episode but nothing special.
