So much time wasted in this documentary with music and clips from musicals. Clearly the musical history of 42nd Street itself needs to be covered...what I'm referring to is the random, jarring insertion of unnecessary singing and clips. It was so distracting I only made it through half the film. The parts where they actually talked about the street were interesting. It's a shame it was too annoying to watch.
