- Two people are attacked with a hammer. One dies right away, and a graphic wound in his head is shown. The other is presumably hit in their nose and they cover the wound while bleeding out and crying.
- A man has a glass bottle knocked against his head and he falls down before getting beaten brutally. His face is seen briefly on multiple occasions with lots of blood.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
- A girl does heroin in a car, but this is only seen briefly. Rue later finds the heroin and uses it offscreen.
- Rue and another man snort an unnamed substance in a room. She, having just taken heroin, is about to OD and asks the man to give her adderall to get her heart rate up. He crushes it up and she snorts it, successfully bringing her heart rate up.

- Nate gets brutally beaten, and, while he is presumed to still be alive, his fate is unknown.
