A main character has dynamic relationships with his girlfriend, his sister, his father, and his townspeople. The more relationship the central character carries, the richer and more interesting the story becomes. However, if not written delicately, the whole movie can become messy. 'Miracle' centers around each relationship chronically so the storyline can be maintained in organized manner. First, it starts with Jun-kyung building friendship and romantic relationship with La-hee. Then, it is revealed that his sister is dead in the accident that happened when he was young, and he cannot let her go since then. Finally, what really happened unravels, and he mends the relationship with his father. One step at a time, so there is no need to worry about it being messy.
Performance of four main actors are applaudable. I love that none of them overdoes it even though emotions in this movie overflow, thus maintaining the balance. Because there is comedy in between and because I did not expect to cry in the beginning, 'Miracle' becomes effortlessly sad.
