2 or 3 storylines running here. All bl@@dy unbelievably. The supposedly calm captain suddenly decides to act loco even after major surgery, where he is able to carry two bodies with no after effects.

lone star or the owen show??

Warning: Spoilers
OWEN OWEN OWEN EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS ABOUT OWEN. You know what? I'm tired. Very very tired. This is not what I signed up for and most definitely not what the show promised. I feel sorry for all the other characters who seems very interesting but i'm done wasting my time watching owen do whatever so that the attention can be on him. Did they forget that this is supposed to be a firefighter show?? And also, VERY IMPORTANT: The suicide scene was uncalled for and unnecessarily graphic, especially since there was absolutely no trigger warning at the beginning of the episode. That's very ignorant of them and disrespectful towards people who have dealt with stuff like this or all the kids who watch the show. No, i'm done supporting this. DO BETTER and maybe i'll come back.
Stupid stupid stupid

Warning: Spoilers
I'll be honest this sort of episode is what makes you hate a series. Nice plot line about a job that goes south and the backlash on social media but then there's the overriding plot line of the usually sensible and pragmatic Captain going mental as he's on medical sabbatical and making decisions that even the most greenest of green people wouldn't make.
It's ludicrous and obvious and above all stupid.
Happy to suspend my belief with the rest of them but decision after decision is stupid and the 'investigating officer' accusatory to a 30 yr firefighter. Gods it's just stupid.
