I honestly started this show because i liked the background music but then...

2nd season really picked up the show and made it so much better, don't know if they hired better writers for 2nd season or this season finale but they really made it awesome. This ep was literally their best ep yet, i rated it 9/10 because robyn (jen, nikki's co worker) was missing. Robyn is one of the funniest characters of this show so it was sad she didn't come in the season finale. Good part is things are finally happening for the couple, this show doesn't look scripted at all, it looks so real, that's why it is relatable as well as amazing.

    Heartrending!

I had to fight back the tears this whole episode. I haven't felt this emotional in a long time. The plight of orphan kids is too much to bear let alone siblings who have to part ways in order to find a home and begin a new, normal life. Jason (Rafe Spall) is such a wonderful, loving, supportive partner and I'm sure he would make a great husband and dad, too!

Tearjerker of a finale, setting up for season 3

Maybe it's me getting older but I'm finding myself enjoying these feel good type of series more now than ever before and Trying is high on that list.

Being a new dad myself and having to go through some hurdles to get there, watching a couple go through an even more arduous process of being foster parents is at times tough to watch.

The acting is great especially my the main cast and I love the usual dry British humor. I won't give the episode away but it was great to see some story lines come to a close and a new chapter dry in motion to play out in season 3.

    Just wow!

I binged both seasons in 2 days, I couldn't stop! I am so in love with this show - what an absolutely wonderful and heartfelt find. This episode was the best by far and I can only hope we get to see more.

    No more geese!

Everything is teed up for this charming season closer: Will Karen marry Scott? Will Jason propose to Nikki? Will they get Princess?

In this delightful, emotional rollercoaster, these questions are beautifully answered, whilst new conundrums are born. Hands-down the best episode of the show to-date.

A fabulous finale to a strong second season, it wavered mid-way through, but delivered in spades at the end. Bring on season three!
