Wow, bad behavior in season 3
mcviglucci-1102712 November 2022
I thoroughly enjoyed this series until the engagement episode on the chartered boat. It stopped being about idyllic homes and flashy, fun and more about real boorish andmisogynist behavior by Gavin and company. How retrograde. It looks like Gavin spurred his team of men on and they were only to happy to oblige and bully DLeanne. Really bad optics for people who are so concerned about them. I would not do business with them after witnessing how they act and think. Good thing that they did not edit this out, this truly became a reality show. Grow up and evolve, TRG. The world is watching and you are making fools of yourselves. Money and luxury do not give you the right to act boorishly.

Why only 6 episodes a season
stephenvider22 April 2022
Great show Well produced - entertaining Strong main characters Personally more property's and less details on personal lives.

Would prefer 8-10 episodes.

Enjoyed it for the houses - but fake stuff made my cringe that I am Australian
sirfire28 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
First of all, the properties in all 3 seasons, was amazing.

The drama, OMG can these guys be any more fake.

Yes it has great locations, great camera work, horrible music and horrible acting and IMHO some very staged auctions.

If this was a REALITY show then I am 100% not all the people at the Auction would want to be shown, in real reality shows they would be blurred out faces, which lends me to believe that while an action "might" of taken place but these are ALL actors or paid EXTRA's. I suspect they re-staged the actions to get better drama?

This leads me to the Delta Goodrem episodes, this was nothing more than a paid episodes with Delta having no intentions of buying anything at all, it was all contrived storyline even with the phone call to say she wasn't going to buy after all, as you could hear both of them talking on the phone.

So the show has amazing houses in an amazing city (but not enough of them) with great drone work, lots of time spinning in front of Luxury cars and lots of product placements, actors changing clothes for every new scene.

I can see why people complain about the men in this show and totally agree, each one has a female PA with them.

Hilarious feminist in the middle of it all who for some reason HIRES 2 gay males as her sales agents and yet talks all the time about how she hates males and bro-groups and how hard it is for a Woman to succeed but doesn't employ women?

Look the best person on this show and the ONLY one I would give my house is the lovely Monika Tu - She is authentic and has grand ideas.

Enjoyable but remember the fake auctions and the bad acting.

Watch it.

Enjoyable to watch

Just finished watching this 6 part season of Luxe listing Sydney. It was not what I expected and I thoroughly enjoyed it, can't wait for another season to come.

They picked a great bunch of estate agents to work with.

Selling Sunset for Australia
hayleedarling3 April 2022
I see what they are trying to replicate here with the success of Selling Sunset. I actually don't mind the series there are a few good characters such as Simon and his team and D'Leanne and then a few ego driven characters that make the average person cringe. Light easy viewing that showcase Sydney's mansions for those who would never otherwise have the pleasure.

Good show
arthuradam30 January 2022
Some of the negative reviewers sound a little... jealous. Amazing properties, amazing city, fun show.

Sure, some of the agents are wankers, but, all good shows need someone to hate. This has it.

I hope they extend this show to the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane etc.

How did they do this without any social distancing or masks when Australia is reporting another lockdown.

Inflated egos and a complete waste of time
circusinternational20 July 2021
I started watching because I was interested to see the properties, their staging, and challenges/strategies for selling them. Instead, I had to wade through endless egotistical and often sexist crap to see brief glimpses of properties, but zero insight.

The men in this show are so full of themselves that it was nauseating to watch. I felt bad for their protégés while simultaneously lamenting that the young, ambitious people on the show are learning from obnoxious mentors and will themselves, likely be the same in the future.

There may be stunning properties on this show, but ultimately Luxe Listings displays the worst of Sydney.

Vulgarly Affluent Real Estate marketed by Gen Z egotists
tm-sheehan10 July 2021
My Review - Luxe Listing Sydney- Prime series My Rating 8/10 Want to see how the other half lives ? We've just finished watching this new six part series and I'm amazed how enjoyable it turned out to be.

At first the thought of sitting through six episodes of insanely expensive Eastern Suburbs real estate practically nothing under $10 million plus the self entitled Gen Z Real Estate power brokers would be excruciatingly boring.

However It turned out an interesting insight into a world I've never had or really expected to have any interest in.

The unscripted series revolves around three real estate agents, D'Leanne Lewis, Simon Cohen, and Gavin Rubinstein. D'Leanne has been working in the industry for nearly three decades and has proven her mettle. The single mother of two is considered one of the best professionals in the field and is a Principal at Laing+Simmons Double Bay. Simon Cohen is the Founder and CEO of Cohen Handler, a prominent property buyer's agency in Australia.

It's such a well produced series and the three estate agents live and work a life of luxury but understand the challenges of getting someone to buy a house in the tens of millions.

Each episode sees the highly competitive estate agents challenging themselves and each other to be the best in the business.

It's not all business you get a glimpse into the personal lives ,the rich at play some Jewish humour ,feasting and fashion and some very bizarre cashed up clients .

Guilty Pleasure
gaurav-pro-id2 October 2022
This show's my guilty pleasure. Easy watch for a lazy afternoon. Some of the expensive properties that they show are quite good and interesting. I guess if you can't afford them at least enjoy watching rich people bicker over the price. The show could do with a few more auctions though. The "unscripted" auctions are quite fun to watch.

The main characters are interesting and surprisingly Gavin has grown quite a bit on me. I like his polite version of wolf of wall street attitude.

The only complain that I've got is, watching Season 3 in 2022, how the hell is the Sydney real estate market still so strong!! Ha ha, I guess anything goes with real estate sales.

Way Better
kellyjeanne-6685923 April 2022
Unlike Selling Sunset, these Real Estate Agents actually SELL homes more than once a season. Also unlike Selling Sunset, these are smart, well spoken Agents. I love watching because I've never been to Australia, and their architecture is so vastly different. There is no stupid petty drama on this show. In fact, DLeanne, who is one of the top female Real Estate Agents, actually wants other female agents to do well. Some other review called these agents vapid. Furthest thing from the truth., Gavin Rubenstein is the best in his business because he totally understands the business. He knows exactly how much a property should sell for, how to get the right buyers, and how to close a deal, without being shady. That does NOT happen if he were stupid.

Vulgar entitled classless amateurs
daniel-bower21 July 2021
Comically laughable classless entitled amateurs pretending/believing they own the properties they have been given an opportunity to try and sell.

The typical blue jacket and white shirt real-estate attire along with poorly versed grammar makes the properties appear as cheap and nasty faux Instagram posts. Collection pumped up self-inflated egotist nobodys contributing to the current property bubble. Wouldn't sell any of my luxe properties with these amateurs. Save your time.

A fun show!
pinetrees-8696515 July 2021
Light and fun viewing, especially interesting if you're from Sydney! The only down side was the overacting by the hired actor, the assistant, Daniella but the other paid actor Liam delivered and still entertained. Also educational for people like me that don't know much about the mechanic workings of the real estate industry.

Everything wrong with our country in one show:
sentosasam20 September 2021
Should be called "Capitalism: End Game" because this is essentially a dystopian nightmare to watch as a "normal" person (see: not a multi-millionaire, millennial muppet).

Awesome show to watch BEFORE visiting Australia, I think it really surmises our culture (or, more aptly, lack thereof).

I couldn't help but think to myself as I watched (re: endured) this utter trash: I really wish Hannibal Lecter / Dexter were real people; because surely they wouldn't suffer these obnoxious, egotistical buffoons.

Watching this show is like watching a train wreck; it's a horrific, gruesome and truly terrifying experience . . . And, to be honest, only later will you wish you had LOOKED AWAY.

Why am I obsessed with this trash? Why can't I be better? Anyway, I love this show, I love the cast, I love the houses, I love the sydney skyline and dreaming of traveling there. Just pure escapist fun.

Better than the other reviewers make it out to be
jaj5410 June 2022
I'm enjoying it. Great weekday viewing.

The houses in Sydney are stunning and this show showcases some of the very best.

The story line is a little eh at times but I don't think the realestate agents are unlikable, they're funny at times and at the end of the day it's all for entertainment value and is scripted. Watch it.

Amazing houses, but.....
jasondbrown843 October 2021
Ive just watched the entire season of Luxe Listings Sydney. The houses are mostly amazing and that kept me watching. However I felt the show was ruined by the real estate agents, which in my opinion were not very likeable humans - with the exception of agent D'Leanne Lewis. If I had a million dollar mansion, I would never list it for sale with those agents on the show.

Compulsive..
neildf-689-37458723 July 2022
For me it was compulsive viewing and I'd love to see another series or three. The cinematography was stunning, and the biggest star was Sydney. Started out think I'd detest the main characters, but quickly warmed to them and found them quite likeable. Unfortunately don't own, or in the market for a $20 million dollar house so it's unlikely I'll be utilising their services.

More about egos
gailmck-6222419 August 2021
Had they stuck to the detail about the listings instead of their self promoting egos it could have been a better show. Instead the content became more about their own vanity, going to the gym, teeth whitening, looking good in top range vehicles. It became fake. Unlike the New York similar show which at least is about the property and the promotion of the property, this became an embarrassing round of false egos. A shame considering there was some stunning material to work with.

Great show.. will keep watching
jeffreyguindon-783948 October 2022
I work in professional services and thus am surrounded by bankers, lawyers, advisors, agents etc so the ego doesn't bother me as much as others in these reviews, it's a byproduct of environment and pretty common amongst our industries. With that, I think they're all wonderfully skilled at their craft. I'm from Canada and never been to AU so it's awesome to see the real estate landscape in Sydney as well as some of the nicest properties I've ever seen. I'll keep watching and am a fan. It's infinitely better than selling sunset which is basically keeping up with the kardashians with a hint of real estate and I liken it to million dollar NY/LA. The only item that bothers me is the constant use of the line "it's a vibe" makes my teeth clench lol it's painful. You're clearly all intelligent, use that brain to think of something else.

Fake and boring
xmen2211 July 2021
The whole show looks so fake and reminds me of a mix between an overproduced version of Suits and an MTV style reality show. I thought the show would be about beautiful properties. Instead it's a boring over the top reality show about some testerone driven flashy 'real estate agents'. If you like looking at people in flashy suits and cars this is the show for you. Otherwise stay away.

Great for what it is
hardcandy7413 January 2024
This show wasn't on my radar at all, but found from a search for 'real estate' on Prime. Took a chance on an Aussie show and am glad I did. Also glad 3 seasons had been released before I found it, with only 6 episodes in a season.

Simon's humour has really grown on me, and I enjoy his screen time. Tammy has a sharp wit, I'd like to see more of her, and was a little disappointed she didn't make the move into sales as it would have been interesting to watch her progression. Maybe in the future!

D'Leanne brings the humanity and class. The way she interacts with others is a strength that the Yo Bros don't seem to understand, this and her experience bring results that keep her at the top. Why would or should she approach the Yo Bros for any guidance?!

Gavin's confessionals are repetitive and getting boring. Putting down D'Leanne and Monika did not make him look better, and doing it in front of his team certainly adds to the culture of disrespecting older women, or perhaps anyone that isn't them or able to make them a dollar. Looking forward to seeing the new office spaces but would not mind if we saw less from TRG unless it deviates from what we've already seen. If we wanted to watch circle j*rks there's a whole other genre of entertainment for that.

Overall, the homes featured are stunning, the banter and characters are entertaining, it's a good value guilty pleasure.

Remi Lindsay
Melissa754 October 2021
Omg! I actually were loving this. Simon is the best. Got to the scene where Remi says no-one likes a fatso, WTAF. In this day and age I cannot believe that came out of someone's mouth and that it was put on tv. I want this show to be watched by many and everyone to also be appalled by Remi. Enjoy your karma !
