A shot for shot comparison of the rehearsals to the final edit for the musical number "I Got the Music". There are noticeable differences between the two, notably that Madison Reyes is often replaced for the role of Julie by a dance double. This is because Madison was either not present on set or shooting another scene at the time, which is likely due to the fact that she is a minor and is only allowed to work so many hours a week.

Charlie Gillespie, Jeremy Shada and Owen Joyner are rehearsing their solos for when Luke, Reggie and Alex poof in with their guitar, bass and drums during "You Got Nothing to Lose". They came up with their own instrumental solos, and so they are fine-tuning what they want it to sound like.

A compilation of the rehearsals for the musical number "I Got the Music". In some of the rehearsals Madison Reyes is replaced for the role of Julie by a dance double. This is because Madison was either not present on set or shooting another scene at the time, which is likely due to the fact that she is a minor and is only allowed to work so many hours a week.

A shot by shot comparison for the dance performance during "All Eyes on Me" with a focus on Alex. In the rehearsal clip, the original Dirty Candy cast is not there except for Victoria Caro, although she now takes on the lead part of Carrie instead of Kayla. This rehearsal is clearly meant for Owen Joyner to practise coming in on the dance as Alex.

Charlie Gillespie is busking for fun with his acoustic guitar at the beach boulevard during some off-time from filming there. He eventually asks if anyone has any requests which leads to "I Want It That Way" by The Backstreet Boys. When Kenny Ortega comes around, Charlie asks Jeremy Shada to join him in his street performance to pay homage to Kenny with the iconic High School Musical duet "Breaking Free". Charlie is kind of messing up the lyrics though, so Kenny jokingly walks away, but he does leave him a dollar. Charlie cracks a few jokes about it and they all end up laughing.

Charlie Gillespie is practising the dance for "Perfect Harmony" with his rehearsal partner Louise Hradsky. The duet is going really well already, but when the part comes where Charlie has to do the difficult solo tricks and dance moves on the floor, he asks for some extra clarification. The professional dancers present all start helping him out.

A shot by shot comparison between the rehearsal and final edit for the "Edge of Great" performance. The biggest difference is that during the rehearsal we see Madison Reyes (Julie) pretty much immediately going up to Charlie Gillespie (Luke) when singing together, while in the final edit she is supposed to ignore him at first.

A rehearsal for the first part of the "Edge of Great" performance. This rehearsal was in the earlier stages of putting the performance together, because the crew on the sidelines is still telling the cast, and in particular Madison Reyes, basic things such as where to stand and who to look at.

Charlie Gillespie and Madison Reyes rehearse their dance duet during "Perfect Harmony" for the very first time together. It's going rather well already, but they're also just having fun with it. Luckily, they seem very comfortable with each other and thus the dance never misses chemistry.

Kenny Ortega and Paul Becker are working on the staging for the performance of "Edge of Great" with Charlie Gillespie (Luke), Victoria Caro (stand-in for Julie), Jeremy Shada (Reggie), and Louise Hradsky (stand-in for Alex). They're focusing on the staging for Luke and Julie in particular, since that is the most important part.

The band is hearing the demo for "Stand Tall" for the very first time. Kenny Ortega is asking them to just vibe out and jam to the song, so they can experiment with the staging for the performance. They come to the conclusion that the demo is missing some sort of climax, and so they decide they'll have to work on the musical and vocal arrangements a bit more.

A shot by shot comparison between the rehearsal and final edit for the performance of "Now or Never". The biggest difference between the two is the camera angle, since the rehearsal shot is much further away and without any zoom-ins, which the final edit has a lot of. Aside from that, the two shots are pretty much identical with the band already in costume and playing on set during the rehearsal.

The cast and crew are having a Halloween party on set, so everyone came dressed up (for example: Owen Joyner came as a big baby, Charlie Gillespie as a killer clown and Madison Reyes as the devil). Everyone is having fun, and eventually Charlie Gillespie and Savannah Lee May start doing the Cupid Shuffle dance, which leads to everyone at the party joining in as if it's some sort of flashmob.

Charlie Gillespie and Madison Reyes are sitting behind the grand piano together at the "Edge of Great" set with not really any other cast and crew around. The two of them are just kind of messing around, singing "Stand Tall" a capella in a funny manner (while still sounding good). Every time when one of them switches the note or tone they're singing in, the other very quickly follows. They're mostly just having fun with it, hanging out together.
