Exclusive: Alex Rand-Lewis has joined Prototype Talent Agency, the agency founded last year by Brian Wittenstein.
Prior to Prototype, Rand-Lewis was with A3 Artists Agency, where he started in the mailroom and worked his way up through the ranks as an assistant in the Voiceover department before moving over to Talent as an assistant, coordinator and then being promoted to talent agent. During his time at A3, Rand-Lewis worked with talent including Rj Mitte (Breaking Bad), Taylor Misiak (Dave), Steven Krueger (Yellowjackets), and Samuel Roukin.
“One year ago, I launched this agency to create a new destination for talent representation and am excited to add Alex to the team,” Wittenstein said. “His energy, passion and way of thinking about the business truly aligns with what we are doing over here at Prototype.”
Prototype Talent Agency was formed in December 2022. Its clients include Italia Ricci, WWE’s “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes (Arrow, Go-Big Show), Piper Curda (May December, Legacies), and Anne Winters.

Godard had once said that to make a good movie, all one needs is a woman and a gun. All Souls takes this a little too much to heart. Indeed, there is a woman here named River who gets a gun to save her daughter from the clutches of the monstrous drug lord who happens to be the child’s father, and that is all there is to it. In its runtime of about 70 minutes, All Souls, directed by Emmanuelle Pickett, tries to create a throttling and gritty atmosphere, but the film suffers because neither there is a freshness to the narrative nor is there a deeper take on violence, femininity, motherhood, or confidential informanthood, for that matter. We have seen monsters before on celluloid who you know will harm children if they have to, and if the movie’s aim was to put us in the shoes of a...

This past July, Pj Harvey returned with her 10th studio album, I Inside the Old Year Dying, and subsequently embarked on a tour in support of its release. Now, Harvey is back with a concert film that captures a performance from this past fall.
Directed by Antoine Carlier and shot by Walter Films in collaboration with Arte Concerts, the concert was filmed at L’Olympia in Paris, France on October 13th, 2023. Over the course of a 22-song setlist, Harvey and her bandmates — John Parish, James Johnston, Giovanni Ferrario, and Jean-Marc Butty — run through I Inside the Old Year Dying, as well as a handful of “oldies,” including “Down by the Water,” “White Chalk,” and more.
Throughout the show, Harvey’s distinct artistry is displayed, as the visuals, lighting, costumes, and arrangements seamlessly come together to create an entrancing vibe. The concert film premiered on Arte Concerts’ YouTube channel on Wednesday,...

Thanks to her new album I Inside the Old Year Dying, Pj Harvey is finally playing shows again. The singer-songwriter kicked off her first tour since 2017 this weekend in Dublin, performing her new LP in its entirety before dusting off some old favorites. Check out clips of the concert below.
Harvey’s latest work keeps up the folk-tinged sound she’s been cultivating since her 2009 reinvention White Chalk. As such, new tracks like “A Child’s Question, July” feature rumbling percussion and maudlin keys as the singer reaches for her upper register. It makes sense, then, that after her I Inside the Old Year Dying set, the artist would dust off a song like the ghostly “Angelene,” from Is This Desire?, for the first time since 2012.
Elsewhere in the set, Harvey performed Uh Huh Her track “The Desperate Kingdom of Love” for the first time since 2013, while lucky concertgoers also...

Pj Harvey is back with I Inside the Old Year Dying, her first album since 2016’s The Hope Six Demolition Project. Listen to the project below.
Harvey recorded I Inside the Old Year Dying at London’s Battery Studio with longtime collaborator John Parish and producer Flood. Marking her 10th studio album to date, the artist ascribed a sort of pensive feeling to the LP while citing the likes of Jonny Greenwood, Mica Levi, Hildur Guðnadóttir, and — of course — Bob Dylan as musical influences.
“I think the album is about searching, looking — the intensity of first love, and seeking meaning,” Harvey said in a statement. “Not that there has to be a message, but the feeling I get from the record is one of love — it’s tinged with sadness and loss, but it’s loving. I think that’s what makes it feel so welcoming: so open.”

Pj Harvey is set to release her first album since 2106, I Inside the Old Year Dying — and she’s previewing it today with a somber track she’s titled, “A Child’s Question, August.” Although she quotes the King of Rock & Roll on the tune — “Love me tender, tender love” — the song revisits the folkish sound of her 2010 album, Let England Shake, with its easy tempo, sparse instrumentation, and Harvey’s soprano singing about rooks, corn, and cuckoos. She’ll reveal the full context of the song when she releases the album,...

We're at the part of the festivities where nothing that's happening is nearly enough.
A Discovery of Witches Season 3 Episode 6 wasn't bad by any means, but with only two hours remaining, it's just not where I want the focus to be as the series rides off into the sunset.
Truthfully, The Book of Life was my least favorite out of the three All Souls books, too, but even that had a lot more meat to enjoy.
So, what's my beef, exactly?
We're getting to the crescendo, but there won't be any time to come down once it peaks.
A Discovery of Witches Season 1 focused on Diana and Matthew finding each other, falling in love, Diana's acceptance of her powers, and Matthew's acceptance of falling in love with a witch.
A Discovery of Witches Season 2 solidified their love, added depth to their relationship, and Diana got the help she needed to...
