Continuity
(at around 1h 29 mins) Towards the end Vanessa uses her hands to open the cabin and she gets some wounds because of the sword, but when Megasonic helps her the wounds are gone.
(at around 51 mins) Angel Dust can withstand full punches from Colossus in his armored steel form, but she flinches in pain from a head-butt from a very human Wade, which is used to explain how he steals her matchstick.
(at around 40 mins) In an early scene in which Deadpool escapes from Colossus, he has neither sword on his back as he falls into an open-bed truck. He later emerges from the truck and now has both swords in place. Then after another flashback, the swords are gone again.
(at around 24 mins) When Vanessa and Wade are having sex, her tattoo moves to her right breast on Halloween, but is on her left every other time.
(at around 22 mins) When Wade and Vanessa are standing in front of the Skee-ball, the tattoo behind her right ear disappears, only to reappear when they are handing in their tickets.
(at around 44 mins) When Deadpool is about to undergo the stress-inducing experiments, he is ungagged and the gag put on his chest. It disappears, then reappears as the scene progresses.
(at around 1h 30 mins) At the end, when Vanessa is thrown off the helicarrier, it's easily 200 foot down for her. Even if the tube is strong enough to survive that and all the debris falling on top of it, she's not strapped in, meaning she would smack every which way and probably break every bone in her body.
(at around 1h 40 mins) In the final scene, with the helicarrier resting at an angle to the ground, smoke from several fires is seen rising rising vertically from the perspective of the angled deck, instead of vertically from the perspective of the ground.
(at around 28 mins) When Deadpool throws his sword to disable Francis' motorcycle, you can see that he throws a sword with a slightly curved blade (similar to a Japanese katana), but both of the swords he carries on his back are straight-bladed (chokuto).
(at around 55 mins) After Wade's transformation, during the fight scene with Francis, he is impaled through the chest with a steel bar. After the building completely burns down and he rises from the ashes, the steel bar is no longer there. A building fire never gets hot enough to melt steel.
(at around 13 mins) In the first fight scene on the bridge where the last of Ajax/Francis' henchmen gets up and plucks the bullet from his forehead and tosses it on the ground, the sound is that of an empty brass casing and not of a lead bullet (jacketed or otherwise).
(at around 47 mins) Ajax tried to torture Wilson by lowering 'the oxygen concentration in the air to the exact point you feel like you're suffocating.' In fact, it is not a low oxygen concentration in the air that makes you feel that way but a high carbon dioxide concentration in your blood. For example, if you suffocate on an inert gas like helium or argon, you do not get the usual urge to breathe and you don't feel any suffocation, even though you might die if you do it for too long.
(at around 31 mins) Careless Whisper is by George Michael as a solo artist and not by Wham, a band he was formerly a member of. In Canada, it is credited to "Wham! featuring George Michael" and is included on the Wham! album "Make it Big."
(at around 52 mins) When Deadpool is escaping from the suffocation chamber, he lights a match which ignites the oxygen tube which blows the tank up, thus releasing him. Oxygen alone is not flammable, so without a fuel source this might not have worked. However, given the dilapidated state of the facilities it can be assumed that the tubes were fouled with for instance oil or grease, which would cause a violent reaction like that in a tube filled with pure oxygen.
(at around 9 mins) While in the mansion eating breakfast, Colossus is in armored form. He can not eat nor does he need to eat in this form, why we never see him unarmored is probably due to the same reason we only ever see two X-men, a "budget thing".
(at around 10 mins) When the X-Men's "X Jet" makes an appearance, it is the 1960s version that resembles an SR-71 Blackbird, not the modern iteration. The film is set in modern times and should not use this version of the Jet. This is, however, due to licensing law issues. Marvel Studios/Disney own the rights to the modern "X Jet" concept.
(at around 1h 21 mins) When the taxicab is rear-ended, the cab is obviously CG. The taxi is much smaller than the car that rear-ended it. The cab is a Ford Crown Vic, the other car is Subaru Justy which is shown to be just as big, if not bigger, than the Crown Vic. The second-gen Crown Vic is 17 feet long. The Subaru Justy is 12 feet long. The taxi appears to be smaller than the Justy in the shot and is very small compared to the forklift in the same shot.
(at around 2 mins) During the beginning freeze frame sequence, the motorcycle rider receiving a wedgie is discharging his weapon, even though his finger is not on the trigger.
(at around 14 mins) When Deadpool raises the guy with the two swords through his body the sword in his left hand is at the corner of his body. After a while when the scene comes back (at around 28 mins) the sword is in the middle of his body, right beside the sword in Deadpool's right hand.
(at around 1h 22 mins) In the CGI heavy shot where Colossus is sent flying after being punched by Angel Dust, the background soldiers appear frozen in time, with one frozen mid step.
(at around 50 mins) When Wade begins his mutation in the oxygen torture chamber, his skin starts getting scarred. We see his face getting scarred and all the hair disappears from his head. However, no hair is seen on his headrest in later shots.
In the final credits, location acknowledgment was mistakenly given to Victoria, Australia, instead of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada - the location of Craigdarrach Castle.
After the final battle, Vanessa unmasks Deadpool by opening a central seam at the back of his head. In the curtain call scene Deadpool turns away from the camera to show a solid, seamless panel at the back of his head.
(at around 17 mins) When we first see Wade make his way to Sister Margaret's, he taps a guy in his groin and the guy flicks a cigarette at him and says "fuck you, Wade." However, the guy's mouth doesn't move.
(at around 4 mins) Just after Deadpool's first appearance, the scene cuts to a helicopter landing. As the man is walking away from the helicopter towards Francis/Ajax, you can hear the rotors still spinning and starting to slow down, but you can see that they have almost stopped. (The tail rotor is spinning, but wouldn't make the "whop-whop" sound of the main rotor.)
During Deadpool's shootout on the freeway, a motorcycle zooms past a car and the camera's reflection can be seen on it.
(at around 10 mins) After Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead leave the manor to go find Deadpool, the scene cuts back to the bridge where several gunmen are shown exiting cars and begin approaching Deadpool. In one of the shots during this, a gunman is shown exiting the seat of a car, with the camera placed behind him. In the shot, the reflection of a camera, cameraman and boom mic are perfectly visible in the side wing mirror.
(at around 4 mins) When we first see Francis, a helicopter lands. A large film light is visible reflected in the helicopter.
Though this is supposed to be set in America, many shots show Canadian flags, Canada Post mailboxes or transit buses and sky-train systems or emergency vehicles.
For the most part of the movie, Francis behaves like not feeling any pain equaled invulnerable. The injuries he suffers during the plot (like the motorcycle crash, or the blade stabbed in this leg, not to mention the container hitting him) should have a serious effect on his mobility even if he can't feel them happening.
(at around 1h 30 mins) Despite multiple rounds of gunfire and explosions which lead to the collapse of a of a salvage Heli-carrier, neither the police nor any fire department units are ever shown at the scene of the last battle in the film. This is despite this battle clearly taking place next to a bridge along a major highway.
The film's apparent setting was in Vancouver, BC Canada. Given that the X-Men's headquarters is located in Westchester County about an hour from New York City and nearly 3,000 miles away how a costumed Deadpool got to NY State and how and where the X-Men landed their Blackbird aircraft during their trips out there are never explained.
Ajax's (Francis's) superpowers are stated to be enhanced reflexes and an inability to perceive pain. However, he is shown having a healing ability far above human normal, a measure of superhuman strength and a degree of invulnerability that allows him to survive not only a high speed motorcycle crash and the destruction of the lab where Deadpool was created, but also the collapse of the Heli-carrier near the film's end.
His abilities would have made him more than a match for Deadpool, whose healing factor is his only superhuman ability. Yet Francis loses two of the three encounters he has with him.
(at around 1h 16 mins) Blind Al gives Deadpool a Colt model 1908 vest pocket which Weasel mention's is a 45. caliber when it actually is a 25. caliber.
After the final battle, when Deadpool is about to kiss Vanessa, Careless Whisper starts playing on his phone. Deadpool mentions Wham! but the song was a solo effort by the lead singer, George Michael.
(at around 1h 6 mins) When Blind Al is putting together the Kullen, she says "Screw, please" to which Wade Wilson sarcastically replies with "Here? Now? Just kidding. I know it's been decades." However she proclaims the Kullen to be finished having never received the tool that she asked for and there was no time for Wade to have given it to her.
(at around 30 mins) When Deadpool is leaving Vanessa, he grabs a bag of coins and says, "If I had a nickel for every time I spanked it to Berdanette Peters" instead of "Bernadette Peters".
