- Units get damaged and can die by swords, spears ,arrows etc, however they basically just get 'tapped' by them.
- A body can be seen when a unit dies however there is no blood or gore and they disappear after a few seconds
- In some campaign cutscenes, we can see people impaled, shot with arrows, slashed with a sword etc, however these are just illustrations.
- There are some objects that can be placed in custom scenarios and campaigns such as heads on pikes whole bodies on pikes etc.
- Because we see the battlefield from above most of the time it isn't that violent.

- One campaign begins with a Cutscene about a guy in a tavern or pub and drinking alcohol. He mentions 'another round'.
- There is no references to drugs or smoking at all and the only references to alcohol appear in campaign cutscenes and not actually in game.
