Subtle, perhaps too much so

This is a beautiful, quiet film that is lovingly rendered. The story is a little too subtle for me, and I wish that there was a stronger narrative to grasp onto.

There are two topics to really say about in this movie : the animation and the story .

The animation is really good , made with a style that really shows how much work was put into this movie . This style of drawing is pretty hard cause you gotta draw everything by hand and the animation has a good quality .

The story is kind of sad , at the end giving mixed feelings like sad-happy and confused-sad .

At first you fiind out about outsiders and the one outsider that loves a little girl and trough out the movie he ( the outsider ) is showing that he cares about her ( the little girl ) and in the end they stay together .

That's the point that I love and the cadres that are my favourite are the cadres that show them as a little happy family .

I love the colors and the animation style in this movie/series so much but the storyline is SO confuseing and not good at all. The original manga is so, so much better that this and i really recomend reading it. It makes much more sense and it's just better. I personally loved the series.... before reading the manga, after it....nah.... I realised how little it tells and how many parts are missing! But i would say that if you are interested in reading the manga then first watch the movie/series because it has beautiful coloring and beautiful music too but you won't like it if you watch it after reading....

I can only recommend it to watch The movie is just so beautiful that I can't say anything else

Before you watch this movie you have to watch the OVA
