an incredibly important and moving film

The acting is fantastic, Cried three times, a very good portrayal of the youth in Sweden and the complexity surrounding gangs in our stockholm suburbs, One of the most remarkable aspects of "Bullets" is its ability to explore multifaceted themes with depth and sensitivity. The film delves into the psychological and emotional impact of gun violence, shedding light on the devastating consequences it inflicts upon individuals and communities. By confronting this timely and relevant issue head-on, "Bullets" fosters crucial conversations about the urgent need for stricter gun control measures and highlights the importance of examining the systemic factors that contribute to violence.

The death of innocence, very important

Warning: Spoilers
This recent swedish masterpiece, in the style of the french film tradition like the works of Truffaut, is definitely a highlight of the past years, as well as a very important and ever contemporary story.

The problems of gangs, shootings and racism on two sides has become a bit of a problem in Sweden, as highlighted by the media. And it is beautifully depicted in a very complex manner in this film.

The actors, even the children, all do an incredible job, and I hope to see a long career ahead of them. The lead boy especially conveys the role of a good boy being dragged down on an unfortunate and paved path in tragic and real fashion.

Overall, a tragic, yet realistic and beautifully put together film that I would recommend for everyone, especially people in Sweden who know the story behind it all!

A really good view on problems we are facing in Sweden right now

One of the absolutely best films from Sweden for several years. A must see for everyone!

The acting is fantastic and the plot is highly credible. I understand that the directors intention initially was to do a documentary. But, he got so caught up in the reality in the Stockholm suburbs that it evolved into a movie-project. He then spent three years researching, interviewing; police, social workers, teachers, kids and grown ups to get a good picture of the problem.

Now, 2023, we have big troubles with gangrelated shooting and murders in Sweden. Which have led the rightwing to increase and shout for harder punishment mor the young crimonals. One example is a suggestion that you should hand out life sentences to thirteen year olds! This picture gives a good insight into the problem. Judge for yourself, but don´t miss it!
