- A woman is killed by the bear whilst hiking. Her severed leg is then thrown on camera, and we can see some blood and gore.
- The film contains multiple sequences of a bear brutality killing people, in bloody and gory fashion.

- A ranger accidentally shoots a teenager in the head. A large bullet wound is shown and brain and blood is splattered in many directions.
- A violent sequence where the bear is pursuing an ambulance. Once the bear enters the vehicle, a person in a stretcher falls out the back and lands face down on the road which proceeds to grind the person's face off. Another inhabitant is shown to have had his wrist fully severed. The scene ends when the ambulance crashes, launching the driver through the windshield. Nobody survives the attack.
- The corpse of a hiker is shown briefly, his face is graphically missing.
- A character's stomach is cut open and his intestines are eaten by two bears before he's tossed off a cliff
- The detective shoots two of a man's fingers off. Some blood

- Two pre-teens find cocaine packages and eat the contents. Both of them are completely disgusted and frantically spit it out.
