Nice story
tempresident14 September 2021
A really nice story. Like that it doesn't have guns and major drama where you expect the main characters to only lose a limb or go blind, then everything has happened to them.

This is a nice romance and interesting storyline with how females actually struggle to make it in the business world.

Like the chemistry between the main characters.

The only complaints I have is the annoying character of Shenasi. He has way too much screen time and brings nothing to the story...he's not even funny. Also too many cliches...she constantly trips so they can look deep into each other's eyes and they get interrupted way too many times by random nonsense so they can't kiss...really getting boring. Oh and too much time is spend on them thinking back...it's enjoyable when much of the story has passed but many scenes of episode 1 is revisited in episode 2 and then every episode after that...too much. If they could get rid of most of the cliches, it would've been better.

From good to watchable
mosquitocyn30 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Started really well with a strong female character and a caring understanding male lead. But the problem is with the script. It seems that the scriptwriter wants the female lead to be really challenged to the state of being bullied by mean male employers and to continue to demean and embarrass her even when she left their employ. I guess some drama is expected in a Turkish series but when it goes overboard like in this series, your audience would just lose interest which can be the reason for the low ratings.

Story could be so much better
makropoulouk1 August 2021
Though the story is nice and not so usual , it is getting way too predictable.the male lead is nice but I think there is no chemistry with the female -who I think was really bored playing her part.

Poor show
fara7410 June 2021
Like always, very predictable turkish show. Poor acting, poor actors. With scènes you think: what has this to do with the show.

The end? There will be no end. Show will be suddenly cancelled because no one will watch it.

A liiittle bit predictable BUT Turkey needs this TV series
chatzisavva-655543 July 2021
I watched 3 episodes so far and I do so very pleasantly. Yes, I do cringe sometimes BUT it's the only TV series that talk about the struggles of a woman in society and I love that. I really like Bensu Soral and how she becomes a role model for young Turkish women - obviously there can be many feminist questions on teh back of that but overall a great effort. Would like to see more of the social aspect of gender equality - there are loads of motivs the director can play with and tap into.

Great show! Important message
sabari7007 July 2021
4 episodes in and I love this show. This is not your typical office romance like some of the reviews here say, where the guy is the rich boss and the girl is the assistant (so tired of those). This show portrays the struggles of women to rise to the top in a male dominated business world and this story is told in an entertaining way with some romance, drama etc...Both lead actors have amazing chemistry and the acting is top notch. All characters especially the women have been portrayed so well. Each bring their own struggles to the story but its refreshing to see women being portrayed as independent and confident.

A great balance between romance and comedy
snugglebucks19 September 2022
I enjoyed this show a lot more than I thought I was going to, my only complaint is that it was a little too short. Leyla and Cem have fantastic chemistry, the side characters didn't overshadow the main ones or the main story, though it came close to Sahasi. I loved that Leyla had flaws and the story didn't shy away from that or try to make her too perfect and I loved that Gem was so sensitive and such a romantic, their roles seemed kind of reversed compared to most shows like this and it was really refreshing to see.

I think where this show really shines is that it does a truly fantastic job at balancing all the themes and aspects to it. It's not overly ridiculous when it tries to be funny, the drama isn't over the top and though new things are brought up in every episode, it doesn't have that soap opera vibe where everything that's brought up has to be more dramatic and intense than what came before it.

I wish some things had been more fleshed out, Iskander and Suna being two parts of the story that I feel didn't get the time or attention they deserved. Iskander was handled better since he was there from the beginning, but Suna felt almost completely irrelevant because the show ended before her character could have really done all that much.

If it had been two or three episodes longer to prevent the ending from feeling so rushed, I would have given the show 10 stars.

Passion is in the air😍
alitsiya-2358511 July 2021
A very unusual Turkish TV series. This is the first time I see passion in detail. The music is maddening, especially in moments of solitude of the main characters. I really hope that the story will continue and develop.

Getting too predictable
nafisrafaati25 June 2021
I am genuinely bored of watching office romance dramas in turkish serials.... They are no different from what Ekta Kapoor was doing with Indian serials.... Quick back to back productions with similar story lines.... Thus is why I had really liked Masumiyet.... It was way off it's league.... A fresh story line with a strong social msg....i loved Erkenci Kus but it was the first of its kind and that's about it.... Everything else seems like a repetition of what we have already seen.... This is why even Sen Cal Kapimi is getting on my nerves now.

Short and interesting storyline
cjpatra3 January 2023
I really loved this series. The storyline is quite different from the usual Turkish rich guy-poor girl. Loved that the leading lady was not a damsel in distress and and she was so successful and fierce, not a helpless mouse. I just wanted her to triumph.... She so beautiful and the fashion was so good, she was like a walking fashion catalogue....kudos to the costume designer for both the male and female lead. The chemistry between the leads was also so good, my screen almost melted:-). I loved the supporting actors, they did such a great job. Overall, great series, onky 7 episodes, highly recommend. Wish there were more shorter series like this one.

Shining like Diamonds, Not Glass
R-Bird-A12 November 2022
This was unexpectedly fabulous. Both leads were wonderful actors and stunning to boot. From a cinematography standpoint, it was top notch as well. The secondary characters added and didn't detract from the story.

But what clearly was the stunner here, was the moral behind the story. Addressing the subject of women being treated fairly in the workplace, biases against them, and treating one another with respect was what made this dizi a stand out. Yes, it had a few clichés, (lost in the forest, a fall into the arms of the male lead, a fainting spell) but they are totally forgivable. For the first time, a male lead didn't grab the girl by the arm and force her to go...or stay...or whatever. This protagonist was actually a decent, honest, thoughtful and empathetic young man. There is a lot of praise for the female lead (and it is well deserved) but I also want to remark that the male lead was a wonderful example of how a true gentleman should behave. I also am glad that it didn't go to the other extreme of what seems to be a new trend, male bashing. Good balance. I just loved this show. Bravo to the team.

Extraordinary

I couldn't stop watching this series. The message that portraits each character was a reality in the world today. The chemistry between Cem and Leyla was felt on every episode. Love and happiness are two as one.

For ALL women in the business world
linny-458247 October 2023
If you have been a successful women in business.. This is for you .

I identify with so many aspects of Leylas experiences.

Building up businesses to have them turned over to others!!

The need to shake it all off and start over with another project.

Connecting people and having them stab you in the back.

Jealousy and politics tearing you down .

Not getting recognized for everything you created OR taking credit for your accomplishments.

So sad that all of this behavior exists .. in the GOOD OLD BOYS WORLD .

Loved the chemistry and of Leyla and Cem .. the fun parts .. the characters amazing .

Enjoy.

now I know why they canceled this one
bernatrompette15 December 2022
I discovered this show thanks to a youtube channel translating turkish series and giving information about the ratings and so on... the video is titled "unfairly cancelled Turkish series".

I watched this series and LOVED it. Not for the cliché cute moments of the leads and also NOT for the popularity of Kubilay Aka or Bensu Soral, I watched it because of the plot. This show is exposing the reality of gender inequality in Turkey. Women are often not taken seriously and made to feel bad for wanting to succeed. There are some good scene with very important messages and now I understand why they canceled it so soon. If you want to know more about the abrupt cancelation check the love & passion channel on youtube and you'll understand. I applaud the creator of this series and I hope they get the chance to make it again but on a different platform like NETFLIX or smt. That's the only way they'll be able to express themselves without cultural oppression.
