I don't know what the deal is with people giving this episode one or two stars. I've watched this show from the beginning, there's a lot of up and down, it is relentlessly right-wing, sometimes to the point of being down right dishonest. There's also a significant lack of consistent character development across the seasons for most characters. This episode is an exception. There is genuine character development and some pretty decent writing, especially with respect to Erin and Frank. The acting is also very good, especially on the part of Bridget Moynahan. Some people are calling this one of the worst episodes of the series, which is baffling. It is easily one of the best in a long while.
