Worth the watch

It's obvious that Crystal is pregnant in real life during this episode. She keeps covering her belly. I love the wardrobe. Everyone looks fabulous! I'm enjoying this season.

The directing was astonishing.... Like watching a movie!

What an amazing episode. The writing was great, the acting was great and most importantly, like the title says, the directing was amazing. The directing was so good, it's worthy of being compared to Stanley Kubrick, and anyone who is into directing, knows that is a big compliment. But M. Allowitz always delivers, so I am not surprised about his phenomenal directing; he should direct every episode of Dynasty! I mean, 1x02, 1x22, 2x01, 2x22, 3x01, 3x16 and 4x01! And that's not even all his episodes! Every angle was perfect, every cut was perfect, in fact, it was like watching a movie rather than a TV show, truly an amazing episode in every way. I especially loved Alexis and Dominique's scenes. Also, Alexis finally taking over the Manor! I can't wait for 4x03. It should be a great episode as it's written by the show's best writer.

Already better than the whole s3

Drama and darkness is an excellent combo when it comes to Dynasty. After the ridiculous s3, we got an episode that if used at the actual 3x22, would have been a better season finale than 2x22 and 4x22 even with these adjustments due to COVID protocols. Not to mention that this was filmed out of order in November 2020 in the middle of a pandemic and with no vaccines but nevertheless, Michael Allowitz did a good job editing everything. The light in the theatre was perfect and I loved how they deluded the audience letting them think the wedding would be in a big area outside until the very end. This angle reflects Allowitz's style and can be compared to Stanley Kubrick's. I really really wish they give him more episodes for s5! 2 or 3 are such a waste!!

Michael Allowitz should be indeed given more episodes

Needless to say, it was difficult to arrange and write a wedding episode in the middle of a pandemic but once again Allowitz served the purpose. The lightning in the theater was perfect and so were the external scenes, which really reflected his style. The directing wasn't as good in the rest of the season and that's really the flaw of s4, whose writing and tone improved a lot over the frivolous s3. Allowitz should get more episodes of this show, 3 for seasons aren't enough! I am happy Jeff and Alexis didn't last long! Now it's time for the show to introduce Dex so they can be a strong couple running big companies and keep up with Fallon and Blake!

Finally.... some Drama and Darkness

Dynasty is finally being the show it was meant to be, a reboot of a strong, iconic family business soap that is all about the drama, drama, and you guessed it, drama. I loved the darkness so far and it takes me back to S2 (which frankly is the last time this show was any good). I love the darkness and intensity as that's truely where Dynasty thrives. Finally characters are acting like how they used to, when they were mature, sophisticated and had an edge to them, as they were in the earlier seasons. It feels like the same show of S1 and S2.... Overall a great episode and a HUGE improvement over the garbage that was last season.

I loved this episode, and the episode before it also. Dynasty is finally the drama it was meant to be, not a silly comedy like season 3. I hope the rest of season 3 is like the first 2 episodes. Alexis is totally the best character of the show now, finally.

WEDDING WAS EVERYTHING

This episode has gotta be one of the best Dynasty episodes to date. The wedding and the dramatic scenes that went on throughout was a roller coaster! Fallon's song to Liam was beautiful. Blake's career was ending, Cristal still has a flirty relationship with the priest, Dominique & Alexis team up and finally Alexis and Jeff take down Blake. That's not even all. The Adam, Anders and Kirby storyline is just getting started. I'm hoping Kirby lives, it would be devastating without her. Although we did see a funeral scene in episode 1. WE LEFT OFF ON A HUGE CLIFFHANGER! Can't wait for next week!
