I'm not too sure about my rating for this episode, but with the amount of hate this season gets, I think bumping up the score isn't wrong.

Let's make this quick:

Pros:

• The queens made the best out of the materials they got in the main challenge
• Great workroom interactions
• The right queen won

Cons:

• No puppet mini challenge
• Awful writing in the main challenge
• No surprises, since the top 3 is clear and the other two lipsynced
• Bad runway, in my opinion, I didn't like a single look
• I thought Olivia won the lipsync, but it really doesn't matter at this point
• Olivia's edit was unnecessary, she's a great queen
• Kandy was critiqued for playing herself in the challenge (again), but Symone wasn't critiqued for playing the same character once again.

Good but a little lackluster

It was good overall but definitely felt a little empty in a way. The final product went on for too long and didn't have the best writing. The right queen went home and there was no favoritism towards Kandy like some people always like to say.

The one thing that stuck out to me this episode was that every single queen played it safe, choosing the part that they were most comfortable with and not stepping out of their box.

Only Kandy got read for this which felt unfair, but I also think Kandy has been dragged along this season for tv value.

The end product was fine, it wasn't in the awful leagues of sex and the kitty girl or whatever mess AS3 produced, but it doesn't stand up to the more recent UK2 acting challenge.

Overall this episode was fine, the queen everyone saw going home went home and we have a final 4 that was obvious since Denali went home.

Overlong, but Enjoyable!

In typical Drag Race fashion, the writing for the acting challenges can make or break the overall product. Thankfully, this week was a success even if the final product was too long. I understand each queen needs their time to shine in the challenge, but some tighter editing could have made this amazing.

I agree with Kandy and Olivia being in the bottom, but also think Mik could have been an alternate. She was fine, but she's played this character before and, personally, it's starting to become one note.

Olivia has been on a real downward spiral this second half of the season and she may have overstayed her welcome by a few weeks. Kandy bodied her in the lip sync. She'll never be my favorite, but people complaining that Kandy is staying for another week is ridiculous. Take your personal feelings out of the equation and Kandy ultimately did better and deserved to stay this week.

I was hoping next week would be the finale, but it appears the queens will be performing for Ru's new music video. This is a welcome return to a fun challenge that the final queens would participate in on earlier seasons, but I hope they don't try and pull a stunt on us.

The favoritism is awful

The fact that Kandy won that lip sync is literally embarrassing. Rupaul's favoritism is once again ruining another season of this show. I love the fact that Rosè won but it doesn't stop this episode from being terrible. As much as I love this show, I hate how it has to be ruining by favoritism and just terrible contestants.

Surprisingly entertaining

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode from beginning on end. I laughed several times and I was entertained properly. What is more, my all time favourite is Utica and she's not even in this episode and yet I enjoyed it. I am just patiently awaiting the brainless reviews of the pressed folk who are never satisfied with anything Ru does on this season.
