An excellent beginning...
This is an excellent first film for Jack Paccione Jr. and Jerry White. Considering their inexperience, they should be quite proud of this early effort. Now you can't necessarily compare this to a Hollywood-style production--the budget was a lot lower and the film makers needed to make due with the typical constraints facing people new to the business. However, despite these limitations, the overall product is enjoyable and surprisingly effective.
An obnoxious jerk is at a Chinese restaurant with his date. He gives the waiter a minuscule tip and when he opens his fortune cookie, it informs him he's about to die! Then, when he sees the Grim Reaper, he bolts--hoping to avoid death. This results in a crazy dash through what appears to be New York City and ultimately the film ends on a clever twist.
Well done and worth seeing--I can't wait to see more from Paccione and White.
