This is my first review here, but I had to write this one so I could warn all the viewers out there looking for a nice enjoyable comedy drama.
First of all, there's nothing comedy about it, there are a handful of jokes but they're are cliches and really not funny at all.
For the drama part, it was really boring, they tried so hard for the movie to be somewhat mysterious but it was thinly stretched out and then it was solved like magic, there was no sense to how it was solved.
It just doesn't make any sense that he went from a man who had chronic depression and who had to take medication to just try to function and not end his life, to a man who's full of life and happiness in just few weeks just because he found out that a man he never met didn't really commit suicide?!!
And honestly it really bothers me that when he felt fine for a second he decided to throw away the medication!!
What message are you sending here honestly?!
If someone has depression and the doctor prescribed medication, and you start feeling better, please don't throw away the medication, please go to the doctor and let them decide if you're ready to drop the meds or not.
Overall really disappointed because I liked the idea behind the story, that non of us should be alone, that we all ,no matter how different, need someone to share our lives with. But unfortunately it was delt very poorly.
