Good Luck! Ninomiya-kun
Tweekums9 January 2011
Warning: Spoilers
This series is largely an excuse for plenty of fan service with lots of jiggling breasts, panties and some girl on girl sexual harassment thrown in for good measure; thankfully that isn't all there is to the series; there are also plenty of laughs and some dramatic action. The story follows Shungo a high school student who's life if changed when his sister sends a girl called Mayu to live with him. She isn't an ordinary girl though; she is a succubus who drives boys wild, unfortunately for her she also has a phobia about most boys. While living together they are expected to 'train'; this means getting in intimate situations without going too far; a kiss could literally drain the life from Shungo! Matters are further complicated when another girl, Reika joins the household as the maid. Reika clearly has feelings for Shungo but can't tell him.

The earlier episodes are more light hearted and certainly contain more fan service but as the story progresses the action increases. The characters were pretty cool, I especially liked Shungo's sister Ryōko who we first see casually chatting to him on the phone while firing an assault rifle! While there is plenty of fan service there isn't much nudity and whenever there is there is always something obscuring the view. The story itself is fairly silly but improves towards the end when we learn that something happened many years before that caused the characters to feel the way they do. While I wouldn't go out of my way to watch the series as it is currently viewable on Crunchroll it is worth checking out; as only twelve episodes you haven't wasted much time if you don't like it.

These comments are based on watching the series in Japanese with English subtitles.
