It was about time

Warning: Spoilers
It was about time Nevenka's story is told via mainstream media. It was a shame when it happened and it's still a shame today. It offers a very clear view of what we, Spaniard males, were 20 years ago. It is useless to try to understand, condone or justify the mayor's behaviour, but how the city, HER city, her fellow citizens could line up with the abuser, is a scarlett letter marked by fire on all of them, and yet, the most disgusting character, the ultimate pig, was the public attorney, the one she put her trust on, and the s o b just attacked her! I felt revolted until he was removed. Powerful documentary indeed, and kudos to Nevenka. I hope you are very, very happy in your adoptive country. Clearly we don't deserve you.

Powerful documentary for all the women out there

Excellent true crime series. And I say crime because harassment is also a crime. I didn't know about this story from Spain. The documentary is very well made explaining all the facts from the beginning. The producers made a great job. What is sad is that although she was the victim she was also the one to be blamed by the society. This is the world we are still living, unfortunately. I respect her for the courage of not only confronting her harasser but also the public opinion.

Way to go girl, way to go!

This is so important.

Watching this documentary was painful, and although nothing new, it tells one powerful story. To stand up for your rights against the male domination and harassment in Spain 20 years ago was the feat worthy of Joanne D'Arc. The pain that lingers in this woman's eyes as she reflects on the events almost a lifetime ago is unforgettable and soooo sad.

Way to go Nevenka, for fighting, for being A WOMAN - THE SUPREME BEING. Screw the male domination, the guys who use the power of the office or their muscles against women, they're only doing it because they can, because the society empowered them, they have ZERO on you.

And I am a man, by the way, married to a woman I love and respect above all.

A story that covers us all

The documentary about entitled, selfish men who were used to power and domination, and a young woman who stood up to face them. I was especially appaled by the prosecutor story. What's even worse, such people will never admit their wrongdoings, that's how entitled they are.
