Reaction / Review for Manifest Season 3 Episode 8: Episode 7 was good and I gave it a rating of 8/10. I wonder what's next for Angelina. Im glad to see that Saanvi stopped torturing herself about what happened to the Major. So it seems like they are getting closer to finding what happened to 828? Seems like it. And it has something to do with Noah's Ark? That's crazy. The whole subplot with the abusive husband is decent. I wonder, does Ben have an actual job? He seems to only care about the callings. How about feeding his family? Makes no sense. Im happy that Jared has a new girlfriend. Overall a good episode but I expected more. My rating is 7.5/10.

I'm stubborn, so I kept watching, despite beginning to believe the writers have literally lost the plot, but Noah's Ark? Puh-lease!

It feels like the writers/showrunners can't make up their minds between sci-fi and religious allegory. I just don't think I can take any more of the meandering.

This Episode Contributed To The Cancellation

How is Michaela in a government SCIF, but not only has her phone...but can use it to call her brother and give home classified information. Also this show went from being like Fringe to a bad episode of Highway To Heaven. The only blessing was that this train wreck was cancelled. The acting in this episode was also particularly poor.

Melissa Roxburgh acting was a bit wooden as if she knew the show was not going to make it. The first season had so much potential. Too bad the writers decided to take a major left turn from the original premise.

Noah's Ark!

To hear scientists, allegedly the 'best' scientists in the US, discussing "The Ark", i.e. Noah's Ark, as if it were an actual, real-world entity, is beyond the pale. Manifest has officially jumped the shark.
