Big laughs and Good Fun

Prankster starts off like your typical office day, but quickly and quietly hijinks arise. The dialog had me rolling and the antics of the film's mischief maker were awesome to watch in action. The characters were easy to connect with and felt like you knew them or could easily be one of them.

If you're a fan of just desserts this is a film for you. Karma plays a huge role in the dose of damage this little 'demon' deals out. Fun and not too mischievous the characters get ran through just what the doctor ordered. But do they learn their lessons?

Well executed pranks/effects with a well written dialog make Prankster very entertaining. The film doesn't necessarily rely on the prank spectacle to carry it along either, the message of the film really drives a long the plot and you want to see what happens next! The film has some really great lines and I couldn't help but squeal out loud with laughs for some of them.

A great film for an adult to teenage audience. There are some more mature moments in the film (first date fun); but again it never gets too angsty or gruesome, which is refreshing. The film isn't some pank snuff film with pank after prank after prank, again the dialog adds a lot of laughs. I really enjoyed the acting and character work. Some of the prank victim reactions had me rolling as well.

I think you'll find this movie a fun ride and you won't be able to help but think of it later (while at the office maybe)... Enjoy and remember... you never know who is watching out there.

Okay movie, inconsistent tone

I am writing this a fan of Nex (Bobo) and his channel so I am a little biased. But the scenes with him and the pranks were some of the better ones in the movie. It's clear he is not a trained actor but that fact didn't take me out of the movie too much, especially with his role being so small (would've loved more character development there, for instance we never learned what Bobo actually is...). Biggest complaints would be in regards to the poor writing and editing, awkward tone, slow pace and odd music choices and so-so acting. I get this is a low budget local movie but I've seen YouTube videos with better combinations of those things so there is lots of room for improvement.

I think the biggest question this movie left me with above all is who is this movie for? The immature pranks and 'childhood imaginary friend returning' elements seem like it'd make for a decent kids/family movie but the writing, setting (what kid will relate to the office setting and work politics?) and some scenes are not age appropriate. The only reason it seems like the filmmakers have classified this as a family film is because of the aforementioned elements and the lack of regular/strong cursing. Again, the age group that would find Johnny's plight interesting might be turned off by the more immature elements, and the kids would be bored by the extended business scenes or even scandalized by the girl and guy stripping in another if they are innocent and don't get what's potentially going down.

The actors try hard to bring the tonally confusing writing to life but again it's hit or miss. Johnny is likeable, Connor is silly, over the top and cringey (sorry but that pale outta shape man was TOO naked in this - the actor wants nothing to do with this project now and I get it), Johnny's love interest is supportive but mostly just there (she has potential for personality but the way she delivered her lines completely fumbled it), in fact most of the other characters aren't memorable, just there. They're just office personality types there to be pranked and that's it.

I feel this movie didn't need to be a movie with a big plot/message (about discrimination) that barely makes itself known until last minute in the movie. They could've easily made this a YouTube mini-series with Nex performing pranks on the annoying coworkers, have him either be an alter-ego of a employee himself or remain the imaginary friend, but get rid of all the excess story and office drama. People who are in his fanbase would've enjoyed that just the same. Both younger fans there for the pranks and to see them done on other people (since he doesn't do tricks on people often in his videos), and older fans who would appreciate the fantasy of getting back at annoying co-workers. Opportunity wasted.

Very Awesome movie, movie should get an Oscar!

I am writing this as a fan and a friend of Nextraker. First off Nextraker is a very talented youtuber who does all these pranks, hacks, gaming set ups. He cares very much for his fanbase and he always does these incredible giveaways. He's very humble, talented, he's a great friend, and very down to Earth. You can see just how passionate here really in what is he does especially in this particular film he was given the opportunity to star in. He's overcome so many obstacles and achieved so many incredible things especially this year. His success is continuing to grow to this day and advance. Because of his hard work, he eventually gained the opportunity to participate in a major movie called "Prankster". He truly deserves this and i know he's put so much time and effort in the work he does. He cares very much for his fanbase, he's done so many giveaways out of his good heart for the fans, and he's an incredible friend of mine. It's important for me to watch his hard work and his success skyrocket the way it should.

I really loved the movie a lot! I've watch like 5-6 times already. The storyline is fantastic. The cast members were awesome and really gave it their all. I believe this film really allowed Nextraker to shine. You can really see his passion in what he likes to do. I can tell that everyone did their part and did a very excellent job in their role. I think this movie should get an Oscar! I would also love to see Nex in more films as well!

You guys gotta check out Nextraker's new movie Pranksters. It is so worth it and I loved the whole film. It is funny and heartwarming at the same time. The film was very well written and well put together. I love Nextraker's character Bobo, his pranks made me laugh so hard and I couldn't get enough of them. The storyline is awesome, and the pranks are on point.

Please go check out and support my friend's new movie. Prankster So many years of hard work have been put into it and it would mean a lot for him (as well as the entire crew) to see all the support. The entire crew will worked their butts off in this movie and I hope to see it skyrocket for all of them and pay off.
