- Captain Becker: Use your fingers. And if you don't want your eardrums to burst, I suggest you keep your mouth open.
- Abby Maitland: That won't be difficult for Connor.
- Connor Temple: What are you going to do?
- Helen Cutter: Oh, you're going to like this, Connor. I, Helen Cutter, am going to save the world.
- Danny Quinn: Since when did you care so much about the human race?
- Helen Cutter: Oh, it's not humanity I'm gonna save.
- Danny Quinn: You know, Helen, you're in dire need of some serious therapy.
- Connor Temple: Becker is really not gonna be happy with you.
- Danny Quinn: Why?
- Connor Temple: That was his favourite gun.
- Danny Quinn: We got to get him a girlfriend.
- Connor Temple: Why would Helen come here? If it was me, I'd just find some nice little Jurassic beach somewhere.

- Danny Quinn: So Helen's gone to visit the ape-men?
- Connor Temple: No, she's gone to kill the first human, to stop our evolution in its tracks. She's gonna wipe us all out.
- Connor Temple: Okay, ancient pines. That could mean this is Jurassic or maybe Cretaceous.
- Danny Quinn: So, what sort of creatures are we talking about?
- Connor Temple: Oh, well... A lot. Too many to list. A lot of theropod dinosaurs. Mostly carnivores, I mean. Spinosaurus, allosaurus. Albertosaurus, abrosaurus.
- Danny Quinn: Oh, good.
- Connor Temple: Obviously T. rex, raptors
- Danny Quinn: Yeah. Yeah, I got the point.
- Connor Temple: No, literally, raptors.

- Connor Temple: [Hiding in a tree] They're juvenile raptors, so at least we know we're in the Cretaceous.
- Danny Quinn: We've got to find the next anomaly.
- Abby Maitland: Before they learn to climb.
- Connor Temple: [about the anomaly controller] This thing's just died, I think.
- Abby Maitland: What?
- Connor Temple: Yeah.
- Abby Maitland: We don't know the route.
- Danny Quinn: We can't open the anomalies.
- Connor Temple: We can't get home.
- Danny Quinn: There might not be a home to get back to.
- Helen Cutter: Humanity is a stain upon the face of the planet. When we're gone, other species will be able to develop in peace. There'll be no war, no pollution, no predators.
- Danny Quinn: So, if you wiped out humanity, then how come I'm still here?
- Helen Cutter: You're really not very bright, are you, Danny? You know, I haven't finished yet. There's more to kill. But you'd be surprised how few hominids started the human race. It won't take long.
- Danny Quinn: Then you kill yourself as well.
- Helen Cutter: I don't care.
- Danny Quinn: Whatever you do, humanity will find a way to evolve. You can't fight nature.
- Helen Cutter: You sound just like Nick. And you know what? You're both wrong.
