- Implied sex scene between Steven and Shayla on the beach. They are shown, her on top of him, kissing. She later removes her shirt but nothing explicit is shown.
- Jeremiah touches belly's boob but no nudity is shown. His hand goes under her shirt during a makeout session.
- Belly and Conrad have sex. No nudity is shown. They are seen taking off each others tops and laying down together. The scene ends after that.
- Taylor teases belly and says "you want conrad fishers tongue in your mouth you dirty sl#t"
- At a party Jeramiah kisses another boy on a couch.
- There are some non-graphic sex scenes between the adults. Some thrusting and grunting but no nudity shown.
Violence & Gore
- There are a couple of fist fight scenes in the show. One of the fights takes place at a party where two male characters are drunk and arguing. A girl runs over to stop the fight and ends up getting hit before one of the male characters also gets hit. Both are shown with red marks on their face. The other fight scene happens between two brothers closer to the end of the season during an upsetting argument.
- Suzannahs character has cancer. It is shown that she is very weak and she eventually dies. (Offscreen)

- Conrad is frequently shown smoking and drinking.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Over the course of the season, we learn one of the main characters is very ill and will most likely die. The effects of this situation cause the characters around her tremendous grief and anxiety over the situation because she is a beloved member of the family. The context of this situation could be upsetting for viewers, especially those who have been through similar situations.
- Conrad suffers from an anxiety attack later in the show. Can be a very intense scene, especially for those who have had them before.
- Susannah's death takes a severe emotional toll on all of the characters. Many characters suffer from anxiety, depression, and are dealing with grief.
