The upcoming Kajol starring court-room drama series ‘Trial – Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha’, which is a gritty drama full of tension, suspense and a whirlwind of emotional complexities, incorporates social themes in its narrative, revealed director Suparn S Varma.
Elaborating on the point, Suparn said, “The interesting element of ‘The Trial – Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha’ is that we got to incorporate a lot of societal themes into the show because at the end of the day – whatever is happening around us, result in crime or lawsuits, or something legal.”
The show focuses on the character of Noyonika Sengupta, who is forced to return to the law world after 13 years after her husband’s imprisonment in order to support her family.
Noyonika has to move forward with a steely resolve as she navigates through the many curveballs life throws at her as she braces the storm she is thrown into which will bind her and her family together.

After nearly two decades, Padma Lakshmi is hanging up her chef hat as she announces her departure from NBC’s “Top Chef”.

Bhubaneswar, April 29 (Ians) Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a sand sculpture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with 100 radios to celebrate 100 episodes of “Mann ki Baat”, at Odisha’s Puri beach.
Pattnaik has created the 8-ft high sand art to mark the feat by using about seven tonnes of sand.
He also created a sand sculpture of the Prime Minister with 100 sand radios. Students from his sand art school joined him to complete the sculpture.
“Earlier, I created a few sand sculptures on ‘Mann ki Baat’ on different occasions. Besides, sand sculpture on radio was also created on occasions like World Radio Day,” Pattnaik said.
Modi’s flagship radio address, which aired for the first time on October 3, 2014, will complete 100 episodes on April 30.
So far, the Padma-winning artist has participated in more than 60 international sand art competitions and festivals around the world and won many prizes for our country.

Chandigarh, April 27 (Ians) Asian boxing champion Kaur Singh, who fought an exhibition match with legendary Muhammad Ali, died in a hospital in Haryana’s Kurukshetra on Thursday. He was 74 and was undergoing treatment for multiple health problems.
