"Well, great men aren't usually good guys."
wetmars25 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The Bullet Blonds are targeted as armed and dangerous stated by the news of the radio. Gary already has Hoover's hair, so that means Nate can impersonate him. Nate disguises as Hoover walks through the train station playing a trick that he and his men captured the Bullet Blonds. They enter the train. Hilarious that they are using Hoover's actor as Nate, hah. A lady asks Nate that her purse is stolen. Funny enough, Nate suspects that there is something suspicious that is in her purse, but Nate eventually finds it under a table, giving it to her. The train has been stopped since there has been a plot to kidnap him. "Gentlemen, this sounds like a Bureau of Investigation." HE SAID IT! Nate orders his men to search out every person on the train. Huh, didn't know that "dick" originally meant as a cop. The men bring in the train engineer who has been secretly working for the Russians or you can say Soviets. Gideon removed the cable wires from the house and gets electrocuted.

Nate interrogates the Russian, finding out that he wanted revenge on "him" for messing with his family. It is revealed that Nate's men work for Al Capone. The train is eventually stopped, the three men are surrounded by the gang. Nate steps out walking forward to the gang. AH NO! The effects of looking like Hoover has worn out and gets kidnapped. Gary and Behrad call backup. Nate admits that he killed Hoover. The Bullet Blonds finally arrive as they forgive the men. Wait wh- another Hoover? The Bullet Blonds tell everybody to take cover as the crew has a gunfight with Hoover. Sara makes a badass move jumping, making a spin, and slams the bottle against Hoover. It is revealed that he isn't bleeding, but a robot! The robot initiates a 20-second countdown to self-destruct. Gideon is recovering. Spooner contacts with Gideon's mind. Someone is planning a time travel experiment. "We've got Legends to save."

Thoughts?

Another great episode, but I felt uninterested when it came to scenes of Zari, Astra, Gideon, and Spooner with her mom. Nate, Gary, and Behrad carried the story bringing fun & entertaining presence. Easily Nick Zano's best performance. I like how he isn't portrayed as comedic (( somewhat )), but threatening. Emotional arc!

9/10.

Nice character driven ep

It was mostly a Nate episode but I loved seeing all the emotional baggage he still carries and how he's always trying to do the right thing even if it kills him. Ava and Sara were adorable this ep. High Zari working stuff out was the highlight for me and Loved the Astra, Gideon and Spooner scenes love their friendship esp Astra & Spooner's. Can't wait for the 100 next week.
