A movie about grief
sodan1123 May 2023
This movie is about grief. The humour is very subtle.

It's slow and sometimes you forget that the actors are exactly that - actors. It's so close to reality and everyone who has experienced losing a loved one can relate 100% The actors are unknown to me so that probably helps making the movie to resemble a documentary.

Certainly not without subtle underplayed Danish humour too.

I love how different kinds of grief managing are described.

I love how we're not told why the character died - it's not important.

How grief hits you in different ways is important. There's not a wrong or a right way to experience grief.

I think there's only one scene where one of the characters is crying out loud and I don't think you even see her tears.

For a movie about grief there are few tears shed... I cried more than the characters. It really hit home with me.

A boring, dragged out, opposite of a drama movie
julileopard12 November 2022
One word to capture this movie is boring. Personally I am not a fan of a dragged out storyline like this. I get that it was nessecary for it to be a bit dragged out, to capture the feeling of loss but I felt like that could've been done in 30 minutes instead. Way too dragged out, i was also missing a soundtrack, basically the whole movie was without music. A lot of context was also missing, the audience never finds out why the character died. There was absolutely no excitement watching it, I felt bored through out the whole movie. Most of the dialogues felt empty and unnecessary. Overall, I truly felt like I wasted my my money and my time watching this.
