Echo is the most-watched MCU TV show of 2024 so far, surpassing X-Men '97 and Loki season 2 in viewer numbers. Marvel's decision to focus on established franchises may limit future projects like Echo, starring a relatively unknown character. Despite changes to Disney's Marvel release plan, the McU's TV division remains strong with positive word of mouth for future projects.
New data detailing the most watched Disney+ original TV series is out, and the top-ranked Marvel project isn't what I thought it would be. Though July's Deadpool & Wolverine is the only MCU movie slated for release in 2024, the TV side of the franchise has remained active from late 2023 to the present and seems set to continue through the year. Last fall kicked off with Loki season 2 from October through early November, and then What If...? season 2 put out one episode a day from December 22 through the end of the calendar year.

National Geographic just launched A Real Bug’s Life, a premium wildlife documentary based on the Pixar movie.
Courteney Monroe, president of National Geographic Global Television Networks, said that this is only the start in terms of it adapting Disney IP.
Monroe was asked whether she could see a real-life version of Ratatouille and said it was a “good idea”.
“There is such a rich IP to mine and there’s so much shared DNA between the Nat Geo and Disney brands that we are exploring lots of opportunities,” she said at the TCA press tour. “You can imagine maybe a real Finding Nemo and other franchises there, where there’s so many families with young children on the Disney+ platform that would gravitate to the real world storytelling around this franchise.”
Earlier this morning, Nat Geo renewed A Real Bug’s Life, narrated by Awkwafina, for a second season, due to launch in the fall.

Limitless with Chris Hemsworth premiered in 2022 and follows the Extraction star as he explores secrets of improving our lives.
In season one, Hemsworth pushed the limits of his body and mind to discover how fasting can unlock the body’s anti-aging power, how to manage stress so it doesn’t kill you, and how exposure to extreme temperatures can trigger our bodies’ own defenses against the killer diseases of old age, all in a quest to live a longer, healthier life.
In the second season, he travels through Nepal, Italy, Australia, and the United Kingdom in four more challenges.

Chris Hemsworth will continue testing his phyical and mental boundaries for Nat Geo.
The Disney-owned company has renewed Limitless With Chris Hemsworth for a second season, which like the first will stream on Disney+. The formal pickup comes more than a year after the first season debuted in November 2022.
Nat Geo and Disney+ have also renewed A Real Bug’s Life, the (partially staged) nature series that uses the 1998 Pixar movie A Bug’s Life as its inspiration. That pickup was much quicker, coming two weeks after the series premiered. Nat Geo announced both pickups during its time at the Television Critics Association press tour on Thursday.
Season one of Limitless followed Hemsworth as he explored — using himself as a test subject — scientific developments in helping people live longer, healthier lives. Season two will focus on “a series of physical and mental obstaclesthat people across the world face daily: mental agility, pain,...
