    This episode was...

Off. For sure but better than some are saying. They are shining a light on the issues the woke have created, and yet are factual in the sense some of their decisions are good ideas in some ways.

Frank though wtf was up with that with the teansferring guy? That's not like him at all imo.

    Poor writing on this one

Wow. Disjointed stories and poor development/justification for the actions taken by Frank. So not in line with his character as we've seen it portrayed through the years. Disappointed in this one from my favorite show.

    Blue Bloods going woke

Blue Bloods used to be one of the very few shows that reflected a "conservative" outlook. But of course, that couldn't be allowed to continue. Now its woeful embarrassing woke cringe. So Sad.

    • Trivia
At Sunday dinner, it is mentioned that Danny never went to college. While it is true that NYPD police officers (and, in particular, detectives) are required to have a minimum of 60 credits of study at the college level, there is a special exemption for candidates who have served at least two years in the military. Danny enlisted in the Marines shortly after graduating high school. Assuming he served at least two years, he would have been exempt from the education requirement of the NYPD. [note: after leaving the Marines and becoming a member of the NYPD, Danny later took a leave of absence from the NYPD to serve two tours in the Iraq war.]
    • Goofs
What planet are you on: Danny properly does not use deadly force against the black suspect holding the officer's gun by the barrel. The officer later severely chastises Danny, and reports him to internal affairs, who then investigate. That would not have happened, especially given the modern trend of criminally charging officers that shoot black suspects.

Where Danny did violate proper procedure was in failing to immediately pursue the suspect. Instead, he just stood there.

Frank Reagan: Gee, I appreciate the input. But I kinda miss the good old days of called on the carpet, come to Jesus moments.
