Plot armor

Waifu simp: Intentionally do dumb stuff to hear Siesta says "baka ka kimi wa?"

Another summer anime done. Basically it's a "detective" and her sidekick fighting aliens.

The plot armor in this anime is quite a thick one. So many rules and things just popped up at the moment to justify the plot convenience. I understood what was happening, but still plot points felt so random. The evil organization almost felt mysterious, but in reality it's not menacing at all, and I could not care less about it.

The animation was amazing, although I have seen better. Lots of the effort went to making the female characters look and sound like waifu materials.

The only two characters that was decently done are Siesta and the sidekick. Their relationship was the only part that kept me slightly invested in the show. The side characters though were just as forgettable as the plot. One of the side characters randomly appeared in an early episode, and it was only until the last episode that her name was mentioned.

Overall, despite the good animation and interesting lead female character, the plot was too convenient and convoluted for me to care. It's unlikely that I will watch season 2, if there's one. 4.5/10.

May be many people are willing to watch some detective thing...this may perfect. Dont just think that "how can u even say that by just watching one episode..." It is enough to justify this animes popularity.

I mean, come on, you came blame a anime for a dub. You must to watch it in Japanese with subs. The anime starts good but it's getting boring with the episodes. And it's a shame that the best character is already dead.

This is like an anime version of "Sherlock Holmes".

The first episode was so great that it shocked me and really reminds me of "Sherlock Holmes", the Heroine is an Ace Detective and she's so awesome, but tbh honest I don't like the MC personality.

The MC is the Heroine assistant, but he's so dishonest, naive, and stubborn that hurt people around him and makes trouble. I really hate the naive part, one day he found a little girl in an alley and just like that he became so attached to her and cares without having a single suspicion about her, because of that the Heroine that he really love died. If i was him, I'll reget it my whole live and crying every night. The Heroine is a really cute and pretty girl that i bet all the viewers like her, but it's to bad she died too soon because of the MC ego.

And like i said in the title, this anime could be a great anime but I don't like how they tell the stories, the storyline goes back and forth, which is normal actually, but after a few first episode, they tell the story of what happen in the past and it took a lot of episodes, after that they go back telling the recent stories which only a few episodes in the end. It making me confuse, and i bet a lot of viewers feeling the same too, they should have just tell the past first then continue to the future without going forth and back a lot.

Good animation and that's it

Inventive But Flawed

The story's strength is the relationship of unexpressed love between the detective and her sidekick. The bio-engineered adversaries are weird and interesting. The main flaws are in the plot development and mysteries. Too often, the Detective suddenly reveals how she knew everything from the beginning and had secret back-up plans to save the emergency or solve the mystery. It would be better if there was more gathering of clues and analysis. More strategy discussion during conflicts would be nice. These are fundamental elements of good detective stories.

This series has likeable characters and fun dialog, so I did enjoy the show. There are more untold stories by this author, so I would watch if they make Season 2.

This anime is too good. I have love at first sight with the female protagonist siesta. I just can't forget her kawaii face. This is absolutely a worth watching.

The anime is just too bad and disapointing.

The story too boring. Character face emotion is just not invested in .

Althought the graphics are pretty good but still, the entire episode 1 and 2 are just trash.

The story was really bad and I hated it Because the best character died in episode 1!

The anime detective is already dead is the best that i watched #must watch It makes me cry several times 😭 it is the most emotional anime that i ever watch It gives us a contection with characters specially siesta is the love for me.

Did you know that Siesta is not really dead, and she comes back to life in the light novel? According to some web search , Siesta's heart contains her consciousness, and it returns to her body after Nagisa dies. This is possible because of a seed that Siesta stole from SPES, the evil organization that they fought against.

Siesta's revival happens in volume 5 of the light novel, which has not been adapted into the anime yet.

Excellent character design Excellent story flow with comedy, mystery, Romance, science fiction.

You will definitely fall in love with Siesta.

This story already best light novel in 5th place.

First eps seems very interesting. Hoping for a good plot as story continues. Female protagonist dying in the first eps was quite a good twist . Main protagonist dying on 5th eps was quite common but female protagonist death makes it a new experience.

A young man called Kimizuka has a habit of getting himself in the most trouble some situations. During a terrorist attack Kimi meets a beautiful silver haired young woman called Siesta and after solving the riddle set by bat, he agrees to be come her side kick.... but then she dies and it's now up to him to complete.

The art style is good as expected.

The story while it isn't perfect but it could be better.

The dub cast duo of Austin Tindle and Xanthe Huyhn is really good.

As for you kevin_lakner you have to be the worst excuses for a troll I have seen on this site.

"I mean, come on, you came blame a anime for a dub. You must to watch it in Japanese with subs" because of karens and fake anime fans like who like to tell how to watch the anime community can't be taken seriously.

Anyways I get this isn't everyones cup of tea. But I enjoyed it.

It has bad action scenes, action is only good in ep1 then the best character is already dead + mc could be better and other characters except kimi and siesta are trash they don't do anything soo at first this is one of the best anime but after some ep it's boring soo if there is a little development on characters and action then this is one of the best anime. It's animation is op and and plot is op everything is op except action and some useless characters soo go watch it and wait for it's s2 it's gonna be way better..............................................................................

This anime is based on a light novel, and it is good. The story describes how the detective becomes disappeared. The 2D graphic design looks perfect as well.

You can watch it but views on storyline may differ. Many people did like story line and many didn't so it's controversial to recommend but you should watch.

So if you are looking for anime with suspense you can watch this anime.

Anime is a little emotional and you can feel empty after completing it I completed this today and feel little anxious as the main character died in ep 1 which was unexpected.

This is overall good anime and I was disappointed looking it's rating so bad , it's an underrated anime Many of viewers hate this anime as main character dies in ep 1 but the story gets interesting in next episodes so far.
