Just watched this Soundie on YouTube. In it, singer Lane Truesdale sings the title song with a trio of male musicians called The Kingsmen playing instruments while a picture of a bearded man looks at her butt while she's also dancing (yes, we get plenty of views of that posterior). This was another enjoyable "music video" from the '40s that played during the era on various Panorams (film jukeboxes) in restaurants, bars, and bus or train stations. Ms. Truesdale herself is quite lively singing the nonsense lyrics. Also liked the cuts to the trio playing the bass, piano, and guitar. As someone born in the late '60s, it's always fascinating to watch and learn about the music from this particular era before I came into existence. So on that note, Whe's Yehoodi? is worth a look.
