Always like watching Nick. And all the shows he's done with others. I'm sorry but he's lost his spark on this show, he always bounces off others and makes it more watchable. He just asks one question after another no break in-between. And lack of tools to work with ghost box etc. It just feels like he's just going through the motions on this show. I've Ben skipping bits as it's boring. I eagerly await each week to see if it gets better.... Not really. He needs a Co host.. Sorry 😢 it's got me watching re runs of ghost adventures and even kindrid spirits . Now that's bad!!

I hate to be a jerk, but I just feel like this guy is lacking personality. What he's saying is interesting and thought provoking whether you believe it or not, I just found myself skipping 10 seconds here and there as he was boring me with his dull vocal tone and lack of any excitement or showmanship.
It doesn't feel like a usual ghost hunt, more like a stoned guys thoughts of time, space and dimensions which felt more like an educational video rather than a tv show meant to entertain. That's ok, just not for me.
Nothing actually happened in the first episode so far as evidence so I think I'll be skipping future episodes.
Sorry Nick just missed the mark for me personally.

I enjoy Groff as a paranormal investigator. I like how he is open-minded about the paranormal, comes across as a nice fellow and is essentially fearless when it comes to investigating, ie he's willing to put himself in crazy situations, engage entities head on, sleep anywhere, etc. But this show is just plain boring. There's little to no post production evidence review, there's too many re-enactments and produced video and audio clips of ghosts, entities, etc. There's not enough assortment of investigative equipment (until Season 3). They're so reliant on the GeoPort and GeoBoxes (which aren't all that interesting) that 75% of every episode seems to be Nick walking around talking with himself through the means of audio pareidolia. It's not engaging. Little to no EVP, thermal, night vision, experimentation (until Season 3), etc. And please stop playing produced audio WHILE we are trying to listen intently to the raw investigation audio. We watch these shows to see and hear REAL evidence and ambiance, not highly produced clips of evidence or ambient noise. I though given Nick's chance to have complete control of his own show, it would be different and BETTER than most of these types of shows. But somehow they managed to make this the most boring PI show ever. Trim the over-production, keep it more raw and make the episodes longer. This could be great. But as of right now, it's not. I will say Season 3 is an improvement from the previous two. And also, Season 3 Episode 2 features a "ghost hand" that is literally just the connector cord from the handicam caught by the static cam. Two experts and neither of them caught it.

I'm wondering how many people has been payed to rate this show with 10 stars.
However, is not only my personal opinion but as fan of paranormal, this tv show is the worst I've ever seen. Nick has lack of personality to entertain and catch the audience, his voice is so annoying. Beside this , the show is technically bad. No way to re-listen EVPs (unless you can rewind on your system), brings you to doubt on any sound you catch. The show itself seems poor and amateur. It was very hard to stay awake and the end of the episodes.

Another new show for Nick but right from the start I found it quite boring and more importantly Nick seems to lack the charisma to carry a show by himself, although it picked up a little towards the end. He seems to be trying to get away from the all the other ghost hunting shows by introducing the idea the we are all living on the different dimensions and occasionally can tune into each other, also although other shows have investigated various places in one show, this one went from one place to the other, which got confusing at times to be honest. The the idea the we are all living on the different dimensions and we can occasionally talk to each other has been talked about on Ghost adventures, particularly by Zac, he's a believer in it and has mentioned in the past several times over the years. At the end of the day he's still doing the same as the other shows but with what seems a much smaller budget by the looks of things. His cousin is the only camera man, imo he needs to be carrying his own camera just in case he sees anything himself and the only piece of technology are the Geo Port and voice recorder., Katrina Weidman uses that Geo Port on Portal to Hell though nowadays.

The background music is waaayyyy too much and waaayyy too loud. Cannot hear what is actually happening, eg sounds and spirit box. It does not create more suspense, just irritation. Getting headache because I have to concentrate so much. The locations he investigates are quite interesting, just not well executed.

I'm sorry but this is so dull drone. Just Nick. Repeating the same things in every episode. Did you hear that? I've got chills, its so cold right here, something just changed in here, can feel it up my back... and so on. In every episode. Total yawn and not in the slightest bit scary. No wonder in Ghost Adventures he just followed Zak around with a camera (stick to that).

This show makes me wish that I didn't believe in ghosts. It's so tedious that I felt my body shutting down as a self defence mechanism, but the strange thing was, as the darkness started closing in, I felt comfortable with it because it meant I didn't have to watch this show anymore.
If watching this had of finished me off, I'd have liked nothing more than to go and slap that cheap Poundland LED ridden helmet off of his head.
Pacing like a caged chimp and duller than a prison knife, this man has as much a place in front of a camera as Glitter has working as a teacher. Give him his job back at Ghost Adventures and let him film that other nonsense spouting ego-maniac

I gave Nick the benefit of the doubt even though I know he lies through his teeth. This show was unbelievably boring even nick himself sounded like he was falling asleep half the time when he was narrating.
He blames zak for his show getting cancelled but by what I managed 5 episodes (before my eyes started to bleed) his show wasn't even on the same level as GA and was no threat. It was just bad but Nicks ego couldn't handle that fact.
He wanted to be the center of attention not Zak and Aaron. Saying he left GA because of the toll of the negative entities and then went straight back into it.

I've always enjoyed Nick Geoff in paranormal shows, but this if the exception.
It's more like watching a music channel, that a paranormal show. He says "did you hear that" or words like it, but you'd never hear a thing for the stupid music. It's that bad, you could drop a car from the roof behind him and you'd be lucky to hear it hit the floor.
90% of this music is totally pointless and for this reason I stopped watching season 2, as the music got worse. I feel lots of others might feel the same.
The daft thing is, he's worked on some of the best paranormal shows available, none of which have blasting music like this. Even the spirits would run from these shows.

Nick Groff continues what he started years ago in his quest for the paranormal. No big production crew, no special effects. Just Nick and a camera with his cousin. The basics in ghost hunting. The raw emotions of the site and history is shown in Nick. Great show.

Isn't it odd that all the 10/10 reviewers ( certainly the ones I just checked) have only reviewed this show yet the negative reviews are created by those who have a multiple review history. I wonder what that says about the high rating reviewers real existence. Surely not created to try and get people to watch this show? Anyway don't do it, the show is terrible, so edited to try and make it interesting, people hearing something on a voice box that suits their argument. Very dull and uninventive The locations are plausible but the whole show being based on the fact that we live on different plains of existence and simply cross in certain locations is a push too far and a pretty weak theme to base a show on. I got through 1.5 episodes and pulled the plug.

I loved Nick in Paranormal Lockdown so when I heard about this show I couldn't wait to see it. The format he's using makes the show boring.
I made sure to watch three episodes just in case the first one was the only bad show. He just walks around the buildings with one of his devices and asks questions. Most of the answers that come through are unintelligible and you need to read the closed captions. Nick is much more talented than what he's showing. Sorry Nick, up until now I have enjoyed all of your work. Ghosts of Shepherdstowne was good even though I did not believe that they just happened to be there when a call came in to the police. I hope you come up with something else.

I have been watching Nick since the start of Ghost Adventures and have always loved everything he has done since. Death Walker is no different. Nick cares a lot about what he does and his fans and he's very genuine. I love that he isn't super showy or dramatic because it makes him feel more real. Nick has always remained true to himself and I am so happy to see him back on tv.

The Paranormal...i experienced, and i watch almost anything related. I like Nick, and despise Zack...
That said...i could not get into this show... The show previous to this one, was in my opinion so much better. His co-host, did help Nick's , not so bubbly personality.
The EVP's were hard to hear, the intro, i found monotone and long Having a co-host that animates and stirs the interest of the viewer, is a plus.
Perhaps, it is just me, and my own preferences. I much prefer investigations. This is an alternate spin on the orthodox paranormal investigations.
Nick, seems to run out of steam. I hope he finds his niche!

Don't waste your time, without the bot ratings this would be a 1 or 2 star show at best.
Please Nick, for the love of God, revive the paranormal lock down format in some form. It was by far and away the best paranormal investigation show of the last decade. GA is old hat and over produced now but you hit on something really special with PL. And that's coming from someone who doesn't believe in ghosts but is entirely open to weird space time/parallel universe overlaps.
This show, despite and interesting premise is unbelievably boring despite a good premise. Don't let the best years of your career be behind you. You are genuinely one of, if not THE, best investigator on TV but your recent shows have been tedious and predictable.
I know that probably sounds incredibly harsh, but it's true and we all know you can do better.

Typical of everything nick groff is involved, it flops horribly, he has no personality, absolutely boring, it's like watching someone drudging through something they're interested in but only doing it because there's a camera on him without any real interest in the subject itself, most boring man alive, this show is beyond boring, i'm trying to desperately like it, on episode 3 currently but i can't stop yawning listening to this these episodes, nothing happens, no substance, no personality to like in the show, there's just nothing of substance here to make this show worth watching any longer than 10 minutes, pretty sad these shows still get aired when you can get better free content on youtube by noobs.

I like Nick and I think he's a good guy, but really - after watching a while he becomes kind of monotone. I also noticed he asks the same questions even after a spirit has answered. They must get annoyed with him. What bothers me the most about this show right now, as I am on season 2 episode 9, is this stupid fake black hand that they keep interjecting on the screen. It comes out behind doors and things and tries to make it more creepy. If you have a ghost a paranormal investigation show and you have to do stuff like that to keep people interested, then you're failing. He has tried to do this paranormal show thing many many times and he just keeps Reinventing it and failing. I liked paranormal knocked down. Ghosts of Shepherdstown wasn't bad. This one I'm struggling with. Get better. Stop being so monotone. Stop desperately interjecting fake hands and junk like that in the scenes to keep it interesting. Junk like that doesn't interest me, it ANNOYS me. I want to see real ghost hunting. No fake stuff whatsoever.
