Two hours and twenty minutes? If they had cut out all of the overly long staring and useless wandering, the movie would have been an hour, tops. I guess this is a revenge film? I could only make it through an hour before fast forwarding to the end.

There was zero emotion in this movie. People reacted so unnaturally. For instance, a girl spilled a drink and a man stood up and yelled, "Are you blind?" Then everyone stood around for a few awkward seconds. I don't know, maybe they were trying to remember their lines.

Nneka was so slow I actually checked to see if my wi-fi was working. This isn't a slow burn, it's a clogged toilet.

Extremely Boring!
misteeqi2 September 2021
The moment the first scene hit my screen, I knew the movie was gonna be boring. Being an African, I decided to give it a chance and I was mad disappointed. Scenes dragged, dark, predictable, CGI was horrendous, etc. There was so much wrong with this movie. Performances were so subpar and there were so many contradictions and consistencies. Wardrobe was off in a lot off scenes. I would give this a one or zero but Idia's prettiness gave it an extra. 😂

Unused powers
youngvicky6 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Who else agrees with me that Chioma Akpotha and the host of others could have used their powers to fight Nneka. It would have been epic and unpredictable.

Instead what we saw was different. So why the plot of powers represented by beads if the actors can't use it?

The movie was too predictable and the story forced. Maybe the actors ran such of time but if the producers made use of the spiritual powers of Chioma and others, it would have made an epic series.

Even the ending was forced, Ramsey Nouah comes to play only for Idia Aisen to try to introduce introduce herself to him. If these flaw was covered with a suspenseful ending, the movie would have been great.

It was a lil long, but i was actully engaged the entire time. And the lead actress did amazing, i had no idea it was her first gig until i read it. The storyline is actually fire, great writing. The ending clearly set it up for a part 2... which is what i came here looking for.

Very good and different storyline. Kept me engaged and surprised! I love when a movie can keep my attention. Especially a Nollywood movie. I hope there's a part 2!

Watchable

I do agree with other reviewers, the movie was too long, but I disagree that individuals are calling this a bad movie. Nneke character is dark and looked unhappy until the money came. The movie gets better from that point. No it's not a thriller, just an average movie with the same cliche as other movies that has been done before.
