So good. Meticulous crime. Murdoch is at his most brilliant in the final scene. Character development for George.

Really good one. The murder takes place by using a device and timing it right. The killers were meticulous and thought they were smarter than everyone else. This is the first appearance of James Gillies played by Michale Seater. The character will go on to recur several more times.

Some amusing stuff on a side story as we find out George is a foundling and wants to find his mother now. He places an ad and now two women come forward. Later this is incorporated into Murdoch's plan to catch the killers. Loved how they did that. Using one thing to fix something else. I say amusing, because of how it's played out, but actually, this is further character development for sweet George. It should be kind of tragic really, that he was given away as a baby, but they added humor to these scenes. George's life and the development of the character will play out as the series goes on.

It was compelling to watch as Murdoch and Crabtree try and figure out not only who the killer is, but how it was done. I think the best part is the ending in the classroom scene. Murdoch is absolutely brilliant as he gives a lesson in applied physics using the hangman's rope. He was absolutely merciless as he kept calling on Perry & Gillies to give the answers. It was awesome to watch. Lol. Really enjoyed this one. In fact, I'm doing a rewatch and was actually looking forward to seeing this one again. The anticipation did not fail. 10/10.
