Sex & Nudity

  • Two of the female characters are well-endowed in the chest area and are drawn in such a way.
  • Maria Renard has a strange proclivity towards the breast size of other female combatants, often comparing them to her own.
  • The character of Carmilla comes at her opponents with a darkly sensual tone, as well as a tight-fitting outfit accentuating her physical curves. Upon using her "Heaven's Gate" finishing move, she will taught her defeated opponent in a sultry tone, claiming to grant the trapped party his/her greatest desires before the gates close and kill the victim inside. This is a bit more disturbing when done so against Maria Renard and Eric Lecarde (both underaged in this game).
  • One of Carmilla's end-match statements laments on "man or women, can no one satisfy me?"

Violence & Gore

  • As it is a fighting game, a lot of action and violence is seen.
  • Characters fight each other with lightning quick attacks and combos with various weapons, including whips, swords, spears, and a large scythe.
  • Magical attacks can be utilized to harm the opposing players.
  • No overt amount of gore; Carmilla's "Heaven's Gate" finishing move, upon completion, results in a large splattering of blood.

Profanity

  • Mild cursing on occasion.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • In keeping with the franchise and main storyline, the feel of the game can come off as dark, fiendish and creepy in approach.
