A word to the wise: The last time award winning Swiss cinematographer Hoyte Van Hoytema traveled to Sweden to ply his trade on a high end genre film the result was Let The Right One In. Van Hoytema's sterling work was a key element at what made that film a global success and he's back at it with Kristian Petri's dark thriller Bad Faith (Ond Tro). Here's the official synopsis:
A killer is on the loose. Walking home from work one day Mona finds one of the victims and he dies in her arms. She is shocked and scared but the experience triggers something within her. Mona's fascination becomes obsession and when the police refuse to believe her she drops everything to find the killer on her own. Her hunt leads to violent confrontation, not only with the killer but also with her self.
